I think our only way of getting him is if we jump the gun before his court case. If he is cleared before the window closes then he'll end up somewhere else, most likely Spurs. Hell even West Ham would have more chance of getting him than us.

well yes on the basis we get in a replacement first. But if we got £8m more than we paid for him after the season he just had plus the whole Wonga fiasco then it would be a great deal. Especially as that would easily fund two new strikers.

I would take Cisse over Bent every single time personally if it was a simple choice between them.

He needs him to go for funds. He hasn't figured out how to use him effectively in 2 seasons anyway and by the looks of last night the 3rd season will be no different.
