Huge for us to get someone like remy or aubameyang in this window. For once i actually agreed with something Pardew said recently. He said after the game that it was a bit un-acceptable that this club had to put out that sort of a weakened team against Everton. Obviously the problems would have been eased if he had just put Cisse upfront and kept Shola on the bench but that's a separate issue

Never once got the impression Pardew fears for his job. Not once.

His love for Shola is massively affecting a lot of his decisions. I love how he always demeans fans as well by trying to suggest we know nothing if we criticise Shola.

Striker is now more important than a CB which seems crazy but if we go into the remainder of the season with just Shola as back up then we are fucked.

I can't believe that we can't even put out a b-team as we have too many injuries/too small of a squad. I'm completely torn on this, on the one hand we owe those twats a beating, on the other we are in a relegation battle and cannot risk a single first team player getting injured.

agree with people saying bigi starting instead of shola. If he was so worried about piennar and baines then playing bigi or anita on the right would have been far more logical.

Scares the hell out of me that time after time the fans can see things that take Pardew an eternity to see. The Ben Arfa farce, 4-3-3 instead of 4-4-2, Santon for taylor, Jonas needing dropping, Marveaux needing playing, Cisse and Ba in a 2 then Cisse stuck on the wing, Shola still being shit etc. Just time after time it seems he's either oblivious to problems or ignores them out of stubbornness or something.

Really scared Debuchy is the only signing as he is funded mostly by Ba. Be delighted to be proved wrong but if we don't get a new striker and defender we are fucked.

Christ I didn't realise we had only lost 2 pre-Cabaye injury. He wasn't even playing well it seemed either but christ we have just collapsed since losing him (taylor and ben arfa to a lesser extent too)
