  1. i don't mind nolan much purely because he scores so many goals and is a great leader and motivator for the team. But there was a classic nolan moment in the spurs game(i think?). Someone passed him the ball but it was slightly ahead of him but still realistic to get so he sprinted after it but because he is so slow he just wasn't getting there, so then he decides to slide in to make sure the other player doesn't get it and then misses completely with the slide aswell haha. I do like nolan but things like that and when he's closing people down he either doesn't get anywhere near or he fouls them purely because he can barely run at times.
  2. http://i54.tinypic.com/15qdr2q.jpg Blatantly was. Uncalled for. looks sped up that gif by about x2 or 3 but still uncalled for and harsh on the poor lad who just dropped a clagger. have to say did laugh when i saw it live though cus i remember it being much slower and sort of a "cheers for the cup mate" type thing.
  3. i think it's disgusting that this will probably get brushed under the carpet now and forgotten, the other clubs in the league should not stand for this favouritism of man united. If that was any player for any club maybe not top-4 clubs but any other club they would have been slapped with a minimum 3 game ban for violent conduct. It's another example of Fergie bullying the FA with his little comment about their being a silly witch hunt on rooney he was basically making it clear if rooney got banned he would make their lives hell and probably pull players out of england squads etc which of course he can do unlike us with ranger apparently.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

hope that's just to not put any pressure on his return date but gutting if he's had a setback

    Ryan Taylor

came after a shocking first touch when he received the ball in-field and i thought that summed up his performance and was hoping he would be hauled off then he goes and puts that tackle in oh and it's clear elmander has done something to offend our squad. its like their all out to get him after today and the game at the reebok.
  7. as soon as i clocked that it was dean sturridge on commentary i knew "his nephew" was bound to score coupled with the missed chances we'd had. Lets hope we come out flying 2nd half
  8. The problem is anybody we get in is likely to be nowhere near the class of jose as he's the best all round left back we've had for some time and i can see people getting on the back of whoever replaces him
  9. Mm well people who have watched him mishit cross after cross for 2 and a half seasons maybe... just because he got an assist yesterday, it doesn't suddenly make him become the worlds best crosser now.. does it? Agreed, anybody can fluke a few crosses now and again, I've seen him time and time again when he has loads of time to cross it in he balloons it over the top. But what i do like is that it doesn't deter him and he continues to cross it and cross it nice and early sometimes even with his weaker left wheareas some players would probably never cross with their weaker foot.

    Ronaldo

http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38086000/jpg/_38086641_ronaldo1997_emp300x200.jpg I thought it was nice how when shearer was retiring,i can't remember where the interview was from, but he was asked if there was anyone he wished he'd played with and he said Ronaldo was the one player he would have loved to have played alongside.

    Football pet hates

Not that i disagree with you because i think if they slag them off for wrong decisions they should praise for good ones. But some people would say if they get it right they are just doing their job

    La Liga - 10/11

1-0 up now, totally deserved too. Sublime goal really busted a gut and then drilled it perfectly
  13. Aye, it would be favourable. Barton - Wilshere - Gerrard - Johnson Walcott - Carroll No chance of that being given even a chance because the FA hate Barton but it would be nice to give it a go because Walcott is ready now to play up front. Ive been thinking this aswell, he's still very lightweight but when he gets put through on goal nowadays he's clinical and no one can catch him. Apart from pace i don't really see the benefit of him playing wide as he isnt great at taking people on when their square up to him, not as good as say lennon and johnson are.
  14. 0:1 Ranger with a flukey first premier league goal that comes off his face or something. (because that's what just happened on fifa )
  15. Just seen it again, logical thing would be that he does it running after tiote and it being so late in the game maybe strained something but the timing of him clutching it straight after harper drops the elbow does seem like more than just a coincidence haha i love this club! so mental!
  16. They've already paid us up front £30m, they'd have no claim to that and even if it were in instalments they'd still have to pay and if didn't we'd successfully take them to court for it (See Al Fayed with Steve Marlet and refusing to pay the final two years due to him believing he was ripped off) IF he never made it back on the pitch the only way they'd see their money again is to claim off insurance, which I'd always heard that you cannot get if you don't pass a medical, Carroll didn't pass a full medical, so not sure if that was enough what he did pass or not. loved him whiie he was here but now he isnt that would be brilliant if that happened haha i think id be like cartman and blow a funny fuse, never find anything else funny again haha
  17. hypothetically, say carroll never did ever get on a pitch for liverpool (i know im sure he will) but if he didn't would they be entitled to not have to pay us the £35m or could they only claim it back on insurance?
  18. reminded me of the tackle on ben arfa. got the ball first but went in with excessive force, way more than necessary and on the reply could easily of broken his leg but when u get the ball first you can always claim its not dangerous just like city did when de jong got away with his
  19. alot of pressure on him to perform from the off. likely be wearing torres' number 9 and coming back from a lay off from injury, if he doesnt hit the ground running people will be saying waste of money not worth 35m etc
  20. liverpool are coming across desperate as fuck in all of this. As much as we all rate carroll and value him more than anything, if pool are offering £40mil! the rest of the football world will be giving it a
  21. if he stays what are the chances he doesnt fully recover from injury and turns shit haha narr hopefully not
  22. i bet the improved bit was something wank like £31 mil and not 35
