  1. Just saw that Sterling pen shout. If he wasn't soft as shit and looking for it, they would've called it. But like most in the Prem now, he made a meal of it and looked like a prat so it didn't get called.
  2. I'd love to take down a big dog on the way up so we don't get all that "easy run" crap.
  3. You are right, but it made me find this gem:
  4. Doubt it will be but this would be my preferred team. Hopefully with Lazaar in there at LB in the future (if he works out) and that would represent my best-case-scenario first team.
  5. That's why you sign dudes like that.
  6. This hasn't put you to sleep yet? Been watching at a bar and fuck me is it painful. Orlando was set up to be so attacking and there's just no fluidity. Trying to get in the playoffs and everything.
  7. A lot of those Gayle shots will go in more often than not. I'd be far far more concerned if we weren't even creating those chances like we have in the recent past. All three of their goals were "fluky" in the sense of 1) penalty, 2) unstoppable strike, and 3) actually fluky. Not worried at all.
  8. It would put us in a position to win 'multiple cups in the near future' at all tbf. We'd be a newly promoted club, with a quality manager, still absolutely light years behind the big 6 teams in the country. Unless by near future you mean century. This is before factoring in that we are NUFC, and an unmitigated disaster is always around the corner. Feel as if I'm arguing against promotion here I know we'll be promoted and it will be great. The original debate is between Promotion or Cup Win, not both. We'd all love both. But in the short term, with a view towards the long term, promotion is more important this season than a cup win.
  9. Getting promoted this season with Rafa at the helm in the Prem is far more imperative than winning a cup this season. In so much as it would put us in a position to possibly win multiple cups in the near future rather than just one now and then waiting another 50+ years for the next. The long term viability of the club is always paramount over a random cup win.
  10. I may be a bit biased because I work for them, but I truly believe that Chimay is by far the best. 'tis good stuff. Have a friend who will fight someone who gets between him and a Blue. however my favorite beer overall will, I think, forever be left hand nitro milk stout. If we're talking all types of beer, then yeah mine would be totally different. As far as Belgians go though, Chimay cannot be beaten.

  12. Looks like he's going to be a handful in the championship.
  13. Aye, hammering it home implies that it needs to be said, when it really shouldn't need to be. This. A banner saying we're not a stepping stone club immediately confirms our status as stepping stone club.
  14. 1) who gives a fuck about the mackems? 2) I'll let Rafa deal with this scenario should that opportunity arise.
