Instead you get Robbie and Robbie.
  2. Would totally fuck Everton on the pitch, I'd imagine. Would more than make up for it with shirt sales though.

I can't believe you all keep taking the bait from Luca. Obviously just on the wind-up.

NBC starting their Prem coverage tonight it seems. Just back to back to back matches from last year. Only Man U/Man City matches though, obviously.

Went to an Orlando City match last night. So much more entertaining than watching the shit Newcastle put out on the pitch last season. It was refreshing to watch a team play with one-touch passing and movement. 10,697 in the crowd last night too which was awesome to see - a regular-season record for Orlando City.
  6. Dude, there's not one single game on the fixture list in which those switches shouldn't take place. I'm not Anita's biggest fan, admittedly. I agree, I'm just trying to be realistic and keep my expectations in check considering the people we have in charge of our squad.
  7. These are the types of matches where we need Anita for Tiote and Marveaux for Shola. And eventually Remy for Jonas. When we're bossing it like we are, we can afford more possession players on the pitch that have a more creative spark.
  8. USA, Canada, Australia should be capable of arranging something quite fast. Maybe China too. All four of those countries would require an overhaul of their public transportation infrastructure. (although perhaps not given the low standards FIFA is holding Brazil too.) It's also much more challenging to run an emergency events in large countries due to logistical issues. Stadia would also be a massive issue in Canada and China. (Unsure about Australia.) Maybe the US could get away with it if they converted Gridiron stadia. The US could do it with a months notice, easily. We have college football stadiums that hold 110k people that we would only need to paint different lines on (and no football in summer in America so even NFL stadiums would be available). And if you look at cities like Orlando (a 94 host), we have 144k hotel rooms and a 75k person capacity stadium - within weeks we could be ready to host a match or two.
  9. I think we're the backup for the Brazil cup when it doesn't happen, right?
  10. That was definitely a curious turn of events.

  12. Is there a legal change in the contract if a player submits a transfer request? Not totally sure how the laws work over there but I always assumed it was more of a gesture than anything else - which I thought was accomplished by Suarez with his interview on Tuesday.

And for the record the channels are only free if you have the sports package already that includes NBC Sports (which if you have FSC then you already do).
