  1. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1676193-world-football-idiot-of-the-week Sounds about right.
  2. Regardless of the crap that has come out of Llambias'/Ashley's corner, Lambeezy did well to balance our books and we have to thank him for that. I don't see us growing in the next few seasons due to who's in charge but if we do grow, we're in a better position than we were when Ashley took over and that has to fall at Llambias' feet, no matter how much that pains me to say.

He's really good friends with our owner. I had this thought the other day when I heard he trained with the team but I didn't dare voice any ideas out loud, it would seem preposterous that Kaka would play in Orlando. This says otherwise though. A great coup by the owner and hopefully a mouthwatering morsel for Don Garber to chew on.

    When do we officially qualify?

@ Ian Darke just rambling over it.
  6. I think this is what is actually happening. Or, should I say, I'm holding out hope that this is what is happening.
  7. "When I stood up to 100 journalist" I would say you can't make it up, but he actually is.
  8. So I missed the radio call, Kinnear actually said "Kebabs"? Can't make it up.
  9. BBC reporting this as a done deal.
  10. Definitely can't hate on the guy. Despite his limitations on the pitch he always gave 100% and helped us in a very dicey time in our recent past. Also, you never heard a peep from him in the papers, never in trouble, etc. Model pro and like some others have stated, we very well might miss his presence in the locker room next season.
  11. If there is a silver lining to Cabaye (possibly) leaving it's that Vurnon will get more starts this coming season. I think this dude is class and really just needs a few starts to show it to the faithful.

Orlando City beat another MLS team tonight in the US Open Cup. Definitely not MLS ready. When was the last time New York FC won a match?

Was pleasantly surprised with his performance tonight.
  14. Mido retires. About as unworthy of a thread as there is possible.
  15. If they don't with a forward line of Oscar, Mata, Hazard and probably Cavani then something is wrong. Especially as the other 2 challengers are going through big changes. The timing of Mourinho's return couldn't have worked out better for him. I don't think for a minute that it was coincidence.
  16. Perfect for a goalkeeper's kit, tbh.

So that means the US is in the WC, right?
  18. I think if anything it's vice-versa. I don't think it's coincidence that Mourinho came back when the league was arguably as weak as it's been in a long time (managerially speaking). He can walk in and take a club that just won some cups and easily turn it in to a league winning side while Man U and Man City may take a bit of time to figure stuff out.
