  1. Tiote needs to be anchoring a midfield of Anita, Marveaux and Ben Arfa right now.
  2. Really thought we had a chance until their goal in the second half. What a shame. At least we showed a bit of gusto though which is nice and rather unexpected. Also, I didn't like the yelling at each other and the inquest after Santon scuffed the clearance. Really no need for that kind of crap and is a sign of a team not playing for each other. It was disappointing to see.
  3. Not going to get up for this one (7:45am) but I'll sleep with my scarf on (it's cold here anyway) to send the good vibes out that I was able to send out against Wigan when I wore the scarf.
  4. That and changing titles of threads to "Sunderland are in the relegation zone lerl" - tempting fate that.
  5. Not this guy. Closing the night before so it'll be a DVRing and a noon watcher.
  6. If we played like Swansea with our players
  7. Wasn't it Norwich away last season where our CBs were Simpson and Perch and we got beat up on? What a depressing match that was.
  8. Not sure it was "one of the greatest" but on the TV it sounded like the crowd were well up for it the first 25 minutes or so. Really loud and behind the team, not groaning at misplaced passes, and like I said earlier in the thread, they won us that penalty tonight.

    Papiss Cissé

The most accurate post about his involvement in the match tonight.
  10. Listening to TalkSport for the first time ever today. I can't believe these guys get paid for this shit. Especially the Irish idiot.
  11. Would like to see Bigi for Tiote and Ferguson for Jonas at HT. Keep Tiote out of suspension territory and put a bit more speed on the flanks.

    Papiss Cissé

Looks up for it tonight. Then again, he usually does.
  13. Crowd won us that pen as much as anything. They've been immense.

Jai Alai is fun as hell to watch.
  15. I've enjoyed our European matches much more than the domestic matches this season, that's for sure. At least there's an element of surprise with the team selection and outcome on the pitch. In the prem now I just expect the same starting lineup with a draw or loss as the outcome, no belief at all.
