His video literally says done deal, as does the one before. Love it.
  2. That whole side of the stadium that is a “park” looks so good.

Targett and Bruno walking out onto the training pitch with their arms around each other is pure

I know it’s been Eddie’s hallmark since he arrived but it does truly look super interactive and creative and fun for the lads.

  7. The system could be so easy too, just do it like they do over here for really highly sought after concert tickets: - Season ticket holders get their seats. - All members who want to possibly go enter a ballot. - You get told that you (and let’s say your kid, attached to your account) are selected. - The next day, or the day after or whenever, at a certain time in the day it’s open field day for those individuals who are chosen. They get to choose/get a chance at seats they want like it was a general sale. - After say 48 hours the ticketing office closes sales and takes a look at all tickets sold. - The remaining ones, after bots and scalpers are identified and cleared, are opened to general sale for members. If you get selected you may not get the seats you want in the end but that’ll be up to you and if you want to pay whatever price is left. If you don’t, someone from the general sales for members would likely gladly take a seat at whatever price.

Really not the way to look at it, if we’re being honest. We will have the highest rated English left back of his generation. And we could have him for years and years.
  9. Why’s that? Targett is ten times the player those jabronis are. A lower half team would absolutely take a punt on him. (I am in Camp Keep Matty though)
  10. Bruno, Tonali, and Rodri as our midfield three would be
  11. Agreed. I think it’s hard because MLS isn’t just the only soccer game in town, if you know what I mean. MLB can change rules with impunity because there is no competition and it doesn’t have to adhere to rules made half a world away. Like if they think bringing back halfway/dribbling PKs makes the game better, they just end up looking like a total joke league because the product is way better elsewhere. MLB doesn’t have that problem. Also kudos to MLB this season. Attendance is up 10% and the highest it’s been in over 25 years. Wild stuff, and the game/product is so much more entertaining to watch now (the most important thing).
  12. That thing could take a hit from Tyson.
  13. A huge problem is they play in the summer (to not compete with the NFL) when everyone has about 1000 other things to do and if they want to watch sport they go to a baseball game. Even just using where I live as an example; during the summer months, every weekend it’s a ghost town around the city, everyone is up in the mountains or on vacation somewhere. With the new rules at baseball games, the MLB games are a far more attractive proposition. MLS needs to take a look at the product and make some serious changes to keep up or they’ll fall behind. (not that I trust them to come to the right conclusions)
  14. I agree with this but I also broadly agree with Astro’s points.
  15. Pep playing Eddie’s system here
  16. That’s not how that would end.
  17. Already did, didn’t they?
  18. You’d imagine the new stadium will have every available bell and whistle.
  19. We can easily do these. Especially this early in the season.
