I don't even know what my opinion of the game is because I haven't a clue whether the opposition are any good. It was a decent performance, we had a strong side out, we deserved to win a game I expected us to win and we drew. All I know about the opposition is they're Russian, they're not one of the Russian sides who've spent loads of money, they're in the middle of their Winter break. I've also seen enough UEFA Cup Last-32 games to know the opposition we face are usually pretty average. So it depends how good the opposition was. If they're s*** then that was bad. If they're good then that was class. If they're average then that was average. Except they're Ukrainian.

Really? Thought we were comfortably the better side, and mostly solid defensively. I agree the pace was a bit slow, but there were several players having a good game.

The refs are quite essential to the result when they're denying goals, each one with chain effects.

We were easily the best side throughout and let down by the officials. Cissé should still have scored though, really frustrating. Bar a couple of decent players and all round good technique and passing abilities, they didn't impress me. Means fuck all of course, because we couldn't exploit it, besides the two times we did. Cabaye ran the show again. Sissoko continues to impress me with his enormous presence. MYM had a fine first 90 minutes, but I also thought Colo - Saylor played solid.

That guy Gueye has been decent.
