Fact is we need a striker better than Shola or Smith willing to sit on the bench. He ticks those boxes.

So four through the door, who next?
-
Oh my God I left my washing on the line and it's started raining, what if I left the keys in the door? Oh no I left my dirty mags all over the living room floor and visitors are expected, what if the cat falls off the roof? I might slash my wrist cooking. What if the brick layer rips me off and oh no now Coloccini's deal is being held up. What a bunch of fairies.
-
I don't mind the odd daft rumor now and again, but surely the Spurs ITK's take the piss, regardless as to whether the Corluka deal goes through. At least half of them must be taking the piss.
-
I'm not even sure he'll play against the Mancs to be honest, we may well take the approach they themselves took with Vidic, an easing in process if you like. If your worried about the so called "putting off" it's your own fault for getting drawn in to everything the media has to say, they probably know as much as we do.

It would have gone through FM. For fucks sake get a grip, it will happen why are you still whinging, I've never known such a bunch of impatient fans in my entire life. I'd be more concerned about who's next to come through the door.

Why do people actually find this s*** out? I'm bored shitless here what could I do... ahh f*** it we'll go on Ricardo Quaresma's wikipedia on the off chance some mong has edited it. When I heard about it was actually quite comical, but in hindsight I can see why such an outrageous statement upset you. I would like to vow I will never post anything of wikipedia again, it was such a horrific act to commit.
-
Oh dear, oh dear. Apparently it's appeared on wiki we've lodged a bid for Quresma after he declared himself to be a huge Newcastle fan. Some people have far to much spare time...
-
We said the deal was at an "advanced stage" actually.
-
No, you've got to remember a transfer deal is as cut and dry as it is on FM.

Link? To radio Manchester that is... http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.shtml?http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/manchester.shtml Cheers petal. I'm not saying I would instantly discard your news but let's say you haven't been the most reliable in the past...

Already done a deal that she'll split the cash with me, had to buck the old bag like but it was totally worth it...

So Mrs Spear was talking out of her gash then? Yeah, she's his agent you know, probably trying to tout all kinds of moves... so why does he say on his bebo, he's moving up here then? She writes it for him, controlling bitch, its all a massive PR stunt...

I know him, nice lad, he said he's never met anyone called Jamie and he knows fuck all about a move to Newcastle...
-
Just seen him outside Greggs, eating a stake bake and an ice split, said he was only here for the money and to batter the f*** out of the horrible little cunt Ronaldo...
-
We'll struggle to find a left back who's willing to sit on the bench, give him a trial perhaps?
-
What paperwork? You have either signed the player or you haven't, the international clearance can be a arse (Glen Roeder is having a bitch of time) but the club have still signed the player. His more than likely worthless Italian passport could be a stumbling block. Is it really that clear cut though? Think your over simplifying things...
-
It's very, very unlikely to happen, but on the off chance...
-
To add some weight to the argument, I think the fee would probably have to be right, normally I'd sell Shola in a heart beat but the fact is he's better than a kick up the arse. Well for the wages he's on.
-
Fact is like all the "clamp downs" we've had over the last couple of years, it won't see past October.
-
Or the far more likely possibility that there's still some paperwork to go through. If only football worked like FM...

It's pretty dam obvious that we're currently short on bodies, the squad is depleted and a couple of serious injuries could no doubt nobble us for the season. Although I'm sure the back room staff are working hard to bring in fresh faces (hold your horses lads) to build up the squad, the fact is currently we're paper thin. If a couple of decent bids were to come for players who just aren't good enough, or don't don't give value for their wages ala the likes of Alan Smith and Damien Duff, would you allow them to leave? For example say Wigan Athletic were to Offer between three and four million pounds for Alan Smith, would you accept the offer? Your getting four million pounds for a player who, although he tries is inept at what he does, but your allowing a player who adds depth to a department we currently lack in to leave, after all Owen and Viduka will struggle to stay fit for an entire season. Personally I think position comes into play. I'd be more willing to let a winger go than a forward simply because we have more depth on the flanks, although I'm sure some would argue we can't afford to let any more bodies go, regardless of position.
