  1. Same guy who said this about Botman btw. Lovely lad but fair to say he’s a bit of a fanny .
  2. My very Italian mate and huge Milan fan on this saga: “if Tonali goes to Newcastle, football will die.” Christ.
  3. Of course I have! Was sampling the local delicacies like Dominoes and Diogiorno; big fan of Italian food
  4. Wum or whoosh? Tonali isn’t slow or “unathletic”.
  5. Easy name for chant tbf. (to the tune of Volare)- Tonaliiii, ooohh-oh, Tonalii ohooh-oh-oh.
  6. If he ever needs an authentic taste of home, there’s always Pizza Express. Once he’s tried the dough balls he’ll never wanna go back to Milan.
  7. Possibly, but I don’t see us breaking our transfer record for a centre midfielder. Anything below 60 million pounds and I reckon we’ll be all over it; whether or not that gets accepted is a different matter altogether.
  8. It’s a fair chunk above what we’ve initially offered. If they’re okay with 65m euros then I think we’ll do it.
  9. How’s his English @Milanista ?
  10. He’s gagging for the move. Get that ossobucco in a stottie, lad.
  11. Not a dig at Milanista who, despite being a very decent poster, is understandably very biased towards his team but: Reading the arrogant Milan fans’ reactions online if this guy signs would be: *italian hand gestures* Squisito!
  12. I really like Tonali but he’s not on the same level as Rice, currently. I’m not sure what it is with Italian fans but I always see a lot of bitterness from them towards English football. It’s strange.
  13. I don’t think they’re that far apart tbh. Prefer Tonali’s physicality and ability to play as a dm.
  14. I think he’s fantastic. Not the greatest season this year but he’s got everything. Really rate him but don’t see it happening.
  15. He’s faster, stronger and better in the air though. But yeah, there’s a trade off there.
  16. I mean, no one accepts the first bid.
  17. Worse technically but better athletically.
  18. I like him, solid everywhere and adds pace to our slow backline. Can’t think of too many next-tier left-backs who are realistic though tbf.
  19. My order: Gravenberch, Thuram, Lavia, Kone, Veiga.
  20. Fair. Doubt anyone will be playing close to that for him though; he’s not a household name in the same way Gvardiol is.
  21. Yeah, you’d imagine they’d accept that figure, release clause or not. Pretty pointless deadline unless they really don’t want to sell him.
  22. Not sure I understand; we can still buy him but not at the release clause figure (which seems quite high anyway) right?
  23. I wasn’t talking about priorities. Regardless of what they’re doing with Chelsea, they’d still want to maximize the value of NUFC so as to get their investment to appreciate.
