After you were “hamstrung by FFP” it was reduced to £331m, still £144m more than NUFC’s. Also, since you only like to discuss transfer fees, I’m sure you saw the UEFA report that said Man United had assembled the most expensive squad of all time. Newcastle appeared in that report as well, almost £1 billion pounds behind.

We also seem to have a pretty sizable number of season ticket holders still on Ashley's 'please don't go' plans and, while I'm happy for any individual benefiting from this, the club really needs to be getting every possible pound out of season tickets.

There is wiggle room whether we qualify for Europe or not assuming we are ok taking the maximum amount of losses in every three year period. I expect us to be very active this summer unless there’s suddenly a concerted effort for the club to be self sufficient, which I’d find surprising and disappointing this quickly.
