I don't understand why they are resting some of these players. It should be comforting and yet for some non-sensical reason it's making me more anxous.

Yes, our xG from open play is almost 1:1 with goals scored. Almost all of our underperformance is from corners and set pieces. This is why all of the complaints about Trippier have driven me a bit nuts. The chances have been there - Schaar v. Arsenal one of the more recent glaring ones.

It's like preferring Wilson to Isak. Both are good, but one is capable of a level of magic that the other just doesn't have.

I hate the word overachieving to describe our season. It's probably not meant this way, but it makes it sound like we've been fortunate when by pretty much any measure we have been one of the 3 or 4 best teams in the league this season.

This is the way. It would be a mistake IMO to try to start the game slowly given the crowd and how we've flown out of the gate in games like this one. If they are able to weather an early assault then settle in.
