Who's linking us to these 2? Newcastle-Online

Great result. Also, the losses to Fulham and Huddersfield looking less poor based on their starts.
-
If we still had a shitty manager I'd definitely think he never got a fair chance, but since I trust Rafa I'm just going to assume he's pretty shit.
-
We have a very poor history with anyone named de Jong. And I like Siem, he seems like a good guy and I think he could be a classy player if fit, but he can fuck off if he's asking for any guaranteed game time.
-
According to a mate, his missus really hates it up here and never leaves the house. Still have four centre halves and I don't begrudge him the move. Hope we put the money back in. First season in 5 where I'm still not worried about us being relegated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk What makes you so confident? Genuinely curious because to me you're a Defoe injury from being in serious trouble. And I rate Moyes.

I think that might just be down to new players every week getting used to the way Rafa works. From what I saw of his work at Liverpool Benitez will implement his methods right down the levels so I would expect that every member of the squad will be able to step in and do a job once they have adjusted. Surely they should all know their jobs before the game though and where they are meant to stand and/or which player to mark though? This was before any subs had been made so there shouldn't have been any confusion If there's one thing I'm supremely confident in Rafa sorting out it's defending set pieces. He won't stand for any nonsense here and it's a very coachable thing. We just need to survive them until it's drilled into the players.

It should not be lost that he (and others like Hayden) have not been playing regular football for the last few years. Glad to see Gayle get two. Will do wonders for his confidence.

This will do wonders for the team's confidence and belief. Great result.

Conte  What a lunatic.
-
Bravo will be City's #1, right?
-
Would be excellent. If they put a few more points on the board and make Phelan permanent I assume he would stay, so hopefully they lose to Swansea, Exeter a bonus, and then get hammered by Man Utd. And then we lodge a bid.

I don't mean to call you out because you're far from the only one, but are you all this negative with other things in life? If so, there's a lot of miserable bastards on here. It's two games, we still have one of the best squads in the league, we probably will get at least one more in, and we have the best manager in the league by some distance. We may not walk the league like everyone thought, but we have 44 games to go. Let's all calm down a bit and have a little faith in the first quality manager we've had in over a decade.

When we don't win on Wednesday it'll be three games played. Recruitment has been absolute dogshit. Can someone remind me if it's possible to hide a person's posts?
-
I do. Are all championship defenders 5'6 like? No, they are big lumps who Mitrovic can match in both strength and crazy. I'm also hoping his return means we play with two strikers.
-
Really miss him by the sounds of it. Think he'll make a big difference.
-
We need to whisper in his ear a weekly wage that makes him want to desperately leave. Let's throw our weight around on this one.

Replay is coming: http://www.espnfc.us/major-league-soccer/story/2928023/ifab-approves-video-replay-reviews-for-select-usl-games-this-season I think it will be a regular part of the PL by 2020, if not sooner.

The Football Ramble guys announced they have written a book. Out in October. TBD on whether or not it will be a train wreck.
-
Nice - still think he could turn into a good player for us.
-
None as far as I know. Pure fantasy.

Yep was looking at Lingard but not sure he'll get much game time. What will their first choice midfield be? Something like this? Carrick Pogba Depay Mkhitaryan Martial Guess he might start Lingard sometimes instead of Depay. I assume Lingard, Rooney, and maybe Rashford all come before Depay.
