Some are definitely forgetting how much more competent we were at home last year. I think we'll win this game comfortably and then everyone can calm down, starting right here...
-
Good move, but fuck.
-
I just remembered how shockingly inept the referees are in this division.
-
Awful commentators, no HD. This is painful.
-
New rule this season - ball can go any direction.
-
Not even going to complain about the team. Whatever Rafa thinks is best I'm good with (until we lose). Can't wait to see what it is though.

Except the profession of journalism. Saw an article written by Ryder not in the chronicle, was well written. I'm sure the chronicle tell him to be a s*** journalist on purpose. It was probably heavily edited, whereas I'm quite certain the Chronicle don't have editors.

Ibe is the difference? I already put my house on us winning the league.

Will be hilarious to see the mackems talking about Santon's Inter pedigree and what Mourinho said about him.

There'd be less hate for Pardew if he wasn't the manager, too. If you give someone a role and they perform it so badly it makes the club look like a f***ing laughing stock, culminating in relegation, they deserve all the criticism one can throw. Let's be honest, in a list of "reasons why Newcastle got relegated?," Colo being the captain is very far down the list. Unless you're blaming him for the fact we didn't sign another CB and also for the fact that we miraculously signed a lot of players with zero character or leadership.
-
I think he'll be remembered more fondly as the years go by. Also think there'd be less hate if he wasn't the captain.

This man may save a generation of fans from supporting someone else.
-
I do think if he stays and if he is healthy (massive if) he will be very good for us next season. Although, if he becomes a key player some Championship thug will probably break him in two.
-
You're a troll.

Think the reaction to this is a bit over the top. He was wasting away at Spurs and yes, we gave him a chance, but he's 27 and wants to play Premier League football. If you remove Rafa from the equation everyone would think "who can blame him?" Sure, we all think we'll get promoted and if we do with Rafa we'll be more attractive than many clubs, but given our history Rafa could easily walk by November and then he's lost at least one season. Add in the fact he's from London and this was probably pretty easy for him. Plus, I think he's a solid player but nowhere near as good as some make out. Would have destroyed the Championship mind you.

I like Townsend but think he's being massively overrated on here now.
-
That was a really good block. Thought Sturridge would score.
-
Yeah, I've been in small American college sports facilities that are more extravagant. Glad we're doing something though, even though a complete rebuild would be better.

Nonsense - not when you factor in all the requirements throughout the PL and the Football League. (I have no idea if these schedules meet those requirements)

4 times at home on the same weekend.
-
A very similar document with the PL fixtures is floating around as well. This is a lot of effort if they aren't real.

I bet it turns out to be mostly or entirely accurate. Or maybe I'm severely underestimating how sad some people are.
-
I couldn't be more relaxed about all of this. Rafa has improved my summer immeasurably.
-
Sometimes, but he has an uncanny ability to swat things out of the air. Must have done it over 3000 times now.
