  1. A 2-0 win would put us on completely level terms in 174 matches played.
  2. They definitely released some of it - not sure about all. You can still buy two on-field seats for $2,500.
  3. This thread would have half as many pages if we were all able to remain logical. We're third in the table with a 6-10 point lead on our rivals. We have a GD that is becoming more insurmountable by the week for all but Liverpool We have the 6th best home record and the 3rd best away record. We are the 3rd most in form side behind only City and Villa (7th in home form, 4th in away form). We've lost 4 games all season (two of them without our best player). 4 of our final 7 games are at home, including the hardest two (Arsenal and Brighton) 4 of our final 7 games are against teams battling relegation, which you could twist as a negative but the fact is those teams aren't very good Going back to Feb. 1 of last year we have been the 4th best team in the league (one point worse off than Liverpool) If you were a fan of a club chasing us the loss at Villa may have provided a glimmer of hope and then you watched Newcastle respond with arguably the best performance by anyone this season. At this point you're likely thinking a rash of injuries and suspensions are the only chance, or maybe you've turned your full attention to Manchester United who are already dealing with injuries, a worse GD, a difficult stretch coming up, and also a huge cup final to think about.
  4. Yeah, Newcastle 111 and I believe Fulham in 110. Villa/Brentford at the other end.
  5. He's counting the two in a row they've already won.
  6. There are plenty of tickets still available including seats in 112 across the aisle from the NUFC section (which appears to be sold out, although I'm not sure they made the front of that section available).
  7. Got four in the Newcastle section for Philly and two good seats for NJ!
  8. Tickets available now for Philly because of the Eagles presale: https://www.ticketmaster.com/premier-league-summer-series-ful-v-philadelphia-pennsylvania-07-23-2023/event/02005E8BCD255105
  9. "20 minutes of abject humiliation." "Tottenham are now in the territory of disgrace. This is disgraceful defending."
  10. Ideal scenario IMO is two draws to end the week. Four points dropped for them, two for Man United, and two for Liverpool. Spurs winning one of them would also be fine.
  11. When he walks out of the tunnel on Sunday it will have been 365 days since his only loss as a starter at SJP.
  12. They also got to play us twice without Bruno. I'd love to do even half of what we did yesterday to them sometime.
  13. Yeah, would really like them to drop at least two points this week. Villa aside it only gets easier for them after that.
  14. The thing that made Caulkin great during the Ashley era is he got it. It was a breath of fresh air compared to most of the nonsense about Ashley and ungrateful / unrealistic Newcastle supporters.
  15. Madrid is the only concern for me, particularly if we're in the CL.
  16. The replies to this are enjoyable...
  17. Has anyone who registered for the Philly / NJ presale gotten an email yet with ticket details? Tickets go on sale tomorrow and there appear to be no details, ticket prices, anything.

    Joe Willock

I was so frustrated with him at one point earlier in the season, but he’s becoming one of my favorites. That was is one of the best things I’ve ever seen a Newcastle player do.
  19. There was a lot of excitement about it on Twitter. Comments like “might actually watch this now” and “this could be good.” Sure fucking was. To his credit, Robbie Mustoe on NBC was adamant before the game that it must be something other than 4 at the back because he couldn’t believe he’d make that change for this game.
  20. I am going to watch this regularly. Might become one of my favorite sitcom episodes.
  21. Is there any benefit for finishing 3rd vs 4th in terms of CL seeding or is it purely based on recent European performance?
