Not sure how anyone can say we need a winger more than a CM (two preferably) and a CB. We could put Bale on the wing and we'd still be an epic disaster on a weekly basis.

I think I'm done with McClaren. It's not entirely his fault, but he can't fix this.

Same, in favor of Hart.

Attending the final would be cool, but I'm sure the ticket prices will be astronomical.
-
Based on their track record so far, this could be tasty (in a I hope it all falls apart for Pardew kind of way).

Frank Lampard with his wife at the Four Seasons in NYC. They said they are loving New York, "maybe too much." Really nice people.

Worth reading for anyone who thinks this is dumb or that heading the ball is harmless.

It's for U10 in games/training and U13 in training. Hardly something to get upset about regardless of the reasons. It just so happens there is a growing mountain of evidence outlining just how harmful head trauma and concussions are, which is amplified in still-developing brains. That makes it a completely rational decision and one that I think will be quickly copied around the world.

I don't care enough to argue so let's pretend that says one of "one of..."

He was clearly looking for a first team role and City apparently thinks highly of him, so they've given him a more high profile gig that keeps him under their control. If he's great then they can bring him back to Manchester whenever they want. If he fails then no great loss. At the moment, NYCFC is a glorified reserves team acting as a marketing vehicle in the most important city in the world.

Apart from Ayoze's goal, that was probably the highlight of the match.

I agree with your point, but Cisse is not that. He's a poacher on his best day. He's not an outlet and his idea of good positioning is three yards offside. Perez can at least control a ball and play a smart pass.
-
Not a good performance and I hated the Cisse sub, BUT... 1) They were less threatening after we made a couple changes. This may have been partially down to tired legs, but I think moving Wijnaldum inside and putting on a winger made a difference. Personally I'd like to see Perez up top and Thauvin on for Mitrovic if he wants to make that change. Cisse is finished. 2) Today's performance was bad and we lost the derby, but we've gotten 7 points from our last four games. That's something.

it's ridiculous and horrible, turns us into a 3-3-4 in possession with just tiote in midfield and we just get swarmed and welcome being overrun We've done it in almost every game this season. Before the injury McClaren switched things up and had Colback occupying the RB spot. It makes sense in theory, but we're probably too weak through the middle to not pay for it. Especially against a pressing side.

Some of the brightest minds and best analysts across all sports never played the game. It's a ridiculous opinion, although not surprising coming from a scumbag who must know he's past it but has to puff out his chest a bit more.

I've watched that Vine 20 times. It's fucking killing me.
