The only thing that has changed is the coaching staff. If Pardew had frozen out Gouffran and Williamson until they were sold and we still had HBA and MYM the squad would be in much better shape. I like to think that's what would have happened with a more competent manager, but maybe that's fanciful. I honestly can't fathom how someone misses Fox's coverage compared to what NBC has done the last 2+ years. It's night and day. They've made the Premier League feel like an event every weekend. On Fox it felt like some secret channel that might also show darts and eating contests late at night. The second paragraph makes no sense. You're reminiscing about tape delayed games, reruns, and Fox Sports Plus. Barely anybody had that channel and the app/site sucked. We now have every single game live in HD on TV or any other device you want it. The fact they've renewed for six more years is fantastic news.
