  1. Anyone wanting to sell Cabaye is crazy. He struggled mightily towards the end of the year, but it was obvious he was tired/hurting. Also, he was having his mental issues earlier on and I'm sure was still dealing with that. He's still without question one of the three most important players in our team. Would be almost impossible to replace.

Excited to be able to contribute to this thread. Ivanovic and Marko Marin in SoHo (NYC). My co-worker is a big Chelsea fan, so he got a picture with Ivanovic. He told Marin he doesn't play enough to get a picture. They were looking for a cab so he hailed one for them.
  5. Football League Power Rankings. http://flpr.co.uk/ Anyone seen these before? A bit silly, but confirms that we really suck so

    Whose fault is that?

Not entertaining, affordable. I picked this out too. Not entertaining and certainly not "bringing trophies to SJP," but affordable. That's depressing.

That would be pure genius, to be honest.

Awful article on the whole, but it's amazing that people are allowed to publish stuff like this. It's like reading something a 10 year old would do. Standard practise to write out 1-9 in number form, and anything higher in text. [/lookatmeistudiedjournalism] It's in fact the opposite. In this case it should likely say 5th to 16th though some would argue the opposite.

Red Bulls need to rebrand. (not that NJ branded teams have thrived). Edit: Saw a suggestion on Twitter to just drop New York and be Red Bulls F.C. That's probably the way to go, but need to differentiate.

New York City FC confirmed. Majority owned by Man City with the Yankees (!) as operating partners. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2013/05/21/major-league-soccer-announces-new-york-expansion-team-new-york-city-football?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=NYCFC&utm_campaign=Unpaid
  15. Can someone confirm (or deny) that Vindaloo (we're gonna score one more than you...ENGLAND) is tied to the national team and has little (or no) affiliation with the Premier League?
  16. I could see this happening at some point. Too much money to be made. You might want to limit it to four teams though.

Honestly, what does he say at halftime? I can't even imagine how it goes at this point. He would have sucked the belief out of the Nazi's in 15 minutes. At least then it would have been for some good.

Thought you were criticizing the club with this. Anyway, I'm definitely not about to argue any further about the qualities of an orthopedic knee surgeon. That would be a new low.

He's really not though Kanji. I know a person who was skiing and injured her knee up there and he said they had to have surgery because it was a meniscus tear or whatever. She went back to Brazil for a second opinion where it showed it was nowhere near what he was suggesting. This is a very common criticism apparently of him, with second opinions being the complete opposite of what he thinks. Remember that, always important to get a second opinion. Although in this case the problem has already been identified, and in the end most surgeons know what they are doing. Don't see the point in flying Raylor over there. He's considered one of the premier knee surgeons in the world for athletes. Good enough for Usain Bolt, multiple Olympians, multiple pro teams, and Manchester United, but let's slag him off and question the club about this too because what else would we do.
