  1. Cleverly's going to be a vile player if he becomes even slightly successful at Man Utd.
  2. which is a good thing, because he had an awful opening few minutes. Glad he's recovered and looked really up for it since. Linking well with Barton too Put the ball on Shola's head with a perfect cross at the start. Not sure when he was awful.

    Alan Pardew

Agree with this, but his insistence to stick with Taylor over Williamson will cost us at some point.
  4. Good half, but should have one more at the very least. Simpson has been excellent. Williamson needs to come back into the team.
  5. Me too. Hate him far less than players we've had that looked like they never gave a shit.
  6. We usually attack so much from our left beginning with Enrique. Twice already Colo has gotten the ball and I thought he would pass out left, but he clearly remembered Perch was out there and thought better. I think that probably hurts us just as much as defensively.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

A baseball player about 15 years ago gave his number to a new teammate for $10 and some beer. I'm sure HBA and little Wayne can work something out.

This. He can wear 666 on his back for all I care as long as he's here.
  9. Agree with all of this. We've done well extending some of the younger/cheaper players - Carroll, Ranger, Krul, Forster, Williamson...The problem for players like Enrique, Barton, and Coloccini is they would need to be convinced to sign a contract that pays less. I'd like to see extensions for Vuckic and Kadar. In those cases though it could be the player that wants to wait. See if they get a chance here and/or waiting to impress enough that they can sign a bigger contract.
  10. Yup. Linked with a decent player to buy - Barton being sold for 3 quid -
  11. I would consider it a success if that's what happens. Keep all the important players, add a short term goal scoring solution, and get rid of some wages (more so if it's Xisco). Can't ask for much more.

First game back home to Everton. Newcastle wins 2-1 (Carroll, HBA). I cannot wait to see him play again.
  13. The way the league is this season if you string together a few wins you'll be in the top 7 in no time. Losing Cahill for a month is a big blow though. Any hope of signing someone?
  14. Yup, would love for them to be back in the PL. A lot better than shit like Wigan, Stoke, etc.

  16. VI and others - how far away is Enrique from the Spanish team? Just wondering if he's ever got a chance.

    Centerbacks...

Unless he's fit with 28 year old legs and a brain to match then it has to be Colo in for Sol.
  18. Are people really talking about that Sky team like it's real? Dropping Carroll...let's be fucking serious.

    Centerbacks...

Should be Colo and Willi. I could live with Colo and Taylor. Will be upset if Colo is left out.
  20. From Opta - 27 - Birmingham have scored 27 goals in their last 27 Premier League home matches, but never more than twice in a game in that run. Limited.
