  1. The way the league is this season if you string together a few wins you'll be in the top 7 in no time. Losing Cahill for a month is a big blow though. Any hope of signing someone?
  2. Yup, would love for them to be back in the PL. A lot better than shit like Wigan, Stoke, etc.

  4. VI and others - how far away is Enrique from the Spanish team? Just wondering if he's ever got a chance.

    Centerbacks...

Unless he's fit with 28 year old legs and a brain to match then it has to be Colo in for Sol.
  6. Are people really talking about that Sky team like it's real? Dropping Carroll...let's be fucking serious.

    Centerbacks...

Should be Colo and Willi. I could live with Colo and Taylor. Will be upset if Colo is left out.
  8. From Opta - 27 - Birmingham have scored 27 goals in their last 27 Premier League home matches, but never more than twice in a game in that run. Limited.

  10. Al Habsi? http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/850716-ali-al-habsi-bids-from-aston-villa-and-newcastle-will-be-considered-coyle?utm_source=Metro.co.uk&utm_medium=twitter I'm sure this is nonsense, but figured I would post.

    The Two Escobars

I've only seen the Reggie Miller one, was impressed. ESPN Classic is a cracking channel btw. The Reggie one is class. Him and Spike Lee is such a fantastic/ridiculous relationship. Reggie is my favorite NBA player of all time. Loved that one!

    The Two Escobars

30 for 30 has been pretty great. Really enjoyed the June 17th, 1994 one as well.
  13. First word in thread title. Not realistic in the summer? Inter keep loaning him out so I'm sure they would sell and if West Ham go down they aren't going to buy him. January 2011. Back to the Robbie Keane argument...

  15. Maybe not Nolan though. I kind of just tacked him on at the end - wasn't sure on him. Is there a list anywhere of best guesses?
  16. I agree when people say things like 'Ashley will definitely cash in on Carroll - if not January then in the summer' etc. There is no evidence to suggest he's going to start selling young, promising players on low wages, especially since a few of them have recently been signed to new deals. I think it's realistic to discuss the possibility of players like Coloccini, Barton, and Nolan being sold since they are on much higher wages.
  17. Yeah, I was thinking we'd do well to get £6m. Agree that we might be able to get a little more abroad (Spain). £4m would be pretty disappointing. I don't think he's going to decide to sell Carroll, Ranger, Simpson, etc., but I think he definitely wants to shift players on high wages.
  18. Given the fact that Ashley would love to get rid of Colo's wages, how much do people realistically think we could get for him in the summer? Let's assume he's no better or worse than he has been so far this season.
  19. I do think Ranger is better suited as an impact sub at the moment. Just wish there was an alternative to Shola. Maybe Pardew will give Best a chance?
  20. Yup, can't believe more people haven't picked up on it. It's so blatantly obvious.
  21. Soccernet has Fletcher instead of Berba.
  22. Shit, he probably wanted Alan Smith.
  23. I think I would die from happiness if they hired him.
