Ah, didn't see that. Housing is what kills people, so then yeah, not bad for a little coaching.
-
Not sure if you're joking or not, but $30,000 is not a lot of money when you're living in NY/NJ/CT.
-
I don't care what they're from - that's godawful.
-
Outstanding.

I don't think anyone can be mad about this. It seemed like the majority of people were doing backflips because we got £12m for him.
-
Hope it's not Grant. He would have them mid-table comfortably.
-
Thank fuck we aren't in this. Can't even imagine how nerve-wracking this would be.

Loved every second of it. Didn't think I was going to see many games, but ESPN360 picked up almost every televised game and listened to radio for the rest. Great fun...hope we can win some games next year.

If Fulham win the Europa League will they take Liverpool's spot?
-
I'm starting to hate Arsenal almost as much as Spurs. Pathetic today.
-
I like Everton tonight - put some money on Everton and Arsenal/Spurs draw - pays nicely. Might put a separate bet on just Everton.

I should just ignore this, but how does what he did today change anything? He's been a valuable Championship-standard player all season. If he puts in solid performances next season then feel free to bump this thread and laugh at us, but you are a little premature in calling us all twats.

That is a fucking ridiculous article. Not only is the content complete shit, but it's written so poorly that it actually makes me mad. Fuck off NOTW.

Got Milner on the last shirt - sold Got Taylor this season - injured Should go for Nolan or Smith based on these results.

Taking Nolan out of the team would probably do as much damage in that respect, still has to be done. yeah, cos 15 goals from a midfielder in a season is s****! Which will mean precisely what in the premiership? hear man your just a WUM If Nolan plays regularly next season we will get relegated. Simple as that. What a stupid statement............ You really think he's good enough? He won't score anywhere near 15 goals next year in the PL, so what does he offer? If he plays as a CM we will get overrun and our defense will be under constant pressure. We saw the result of that last year. If we opt for a 4-5-1, at least away, and he plays behind the lone striker then we won't create/score nearly enough. We could (and need to) find a significant upgrade at either position for next season. I appreciate what he did this season and I think his attitude, especially early on, went a long way for the club, but he's simply not good enough anymore.
-
If he starts on a regular basis, we will get relegated. No doubt in my mind.
-
One player hardly will get us relegated, will he? I'd say the same about Nolan next season.
-
Never.

Rooney/Berba, Drogba/Anelka, Van Persie/Bendtner/Arshavin, Torres, Defoe/Crouch, Adebayor/Bellamy, Agbonlahor/Carew, Bent, Rodallega...obviously forgetting some, but all better than anyone we have seen this year. Some aren't as good when you look further down the table, but I'd say the worst in the Premier League are at worst at the same level as those at the top of the CCC.

Reading the quote again it seems he was just rattling off some second/third tier European clubs. Praying we are involved though.

Would be there in a heartbeat.

False statement #2. The Yankees are paying approximately $1.1-1.3 billion of the $1.5bn. The Yankees did receive tax-free bonds from the city, which have been the subject of much debate and are certainly a huge financial help, but they will ultimately be paying those off. Also, MLB gives the Yankees a break on their luxury tax payments, as a large percentage of those can now be put towards the new stadium. This would be true for any team that owed luxury tax money and had a new stadium. The city picked up the tab for some improvements around the stadium and new parking garages. Yes, the Yankees get to keep profits from the parking garages (similar deal for the Mets).
