Whilst it isn't impossible, that's a whole new level of nerves like
-
If they outscored us. They're currently 7 goals behind. They can get a max of 71 points. 5 points would also see us on 71.
-
If we draw vs Brighton and beat Leicester we just need to draw at Chelsea which is entirely feasible and works on the assumption both Man United and Liverpool win all their remaining games. Still well and truly in our hands and realistically we aren't going to lose another game based on the form across the season and reversed games against the same opposition.

Absolute class. Arguably one of the best RBs in world football at present. Our first marquee signing.
-
Another year in the Championship. Is that 7 in a row now (years outside the PL)?

I think we've missed Longstaff a few times. People don't consider the 'off the ball' things he does and the space he closes down/opens up. It frees up the likes of Bruno to play his game in that little bit more peace. Bruno is playing injured too.

Wasn't a pen. Wasn't our day. They came here to cheat and frustrate and did so to good effect. The referee allowed them to do it too. Overall though - they showed why they're 2nd and we're 3rd. Only them and City have came here and been able to play it out from the back under pressure and as a result were able to open us up. Our high intensity press prevents lesser sides from doing that. Have to say hats off, move on, and put it right in the next game. Thought our fans were excellent though

Just seen that Brighton play Arsenal, us and Villa all away and Man City at home in their remaining 6 fixtures and have to make up 7 points on us assuming they win their game in hand. Even beating us they'd need 4. I heavily, heavily doubt that is happening. Likewise, Spurs would have to overturn a 27 goal deficit and we'd have to lose every game and Spurs win every game for them to catch us now. Realistically, only Liverpool pose a threat. They could (quite conceivably) win their remaining three games. But no chance, we don't get 6 points from our last 5 games like. So get packing folk.

Man United to draw and us to win today, that's my slightly optimistic prediction.
-
Honestly like, Arsenal must be so mystified with us based on the 4-4 and that last year. We're like a thorn in their side. If the atmosphere today is like it was for Man United and Spurs I think they'll absolutely crumble. I reckon their team will be shiteing it today like they really need their leaders to take reign, if they can.

Just been attempting to watch the Waxxa video of this fixture from last year. Spine tingling.
-
Cheers for the heads up. Will give this a watch later.

Stop laughing it's not funny.
-
We play top of the table this weekend and even if we draw cannot be caught. Chillax folk, pick out some nice air BnBs
-
Hate to say I told you so, but... I told you so. RELEASE THE THIRDOMETER.
-
Just a heads up that Man United won't win today. So we're now 3rd and cannot be caught unless we fuck up.
-
North East 17 (wins). He just had to leave though, realised he was too good for them.
-
If Brighton win tomorrow, or even draw, we're then in the driving seat for 3rd let alone 4th...
-
We're averaging one loss in 8 and have only 5 games left, all against teams that haven't beat us yet this season, only 1 of which is above us and only another 1 that is even top 10. Wouldn't surprise me if we beat Arsenal this weekend and then it's pretty much all done. Finished. Finito. Sit back and watch Man United finish 5th.

We'll get three points this weekend to celebrate Eddie's formal coronation.

Y'all need to chill.

At this point in time I reckon we'll get 9 points from the last 5 with no more losses. Arsenal (draw) Leeds (win) Brighton (draw) Leicester (win) Chelsea (draw)
