  1. Biggest result of the day was at St James' because we are the best team in the land. It really is that simple.
  2. It does get sang at St James' and it gets sung in the corner. I can confirm that for one. Ill be honest, I see where people are coming from and we too thought this might be the case, but I'm slightly dumbfounded that so many fans of so many years of following the club don't know this song. Nonetheless, our intention, as always, is to connect with the club and its fanbase. We felt this connected with older generations and we are the cock of the true North. So... Make of that what you will... Chelsea will be awesome. Thanks to your help.
  3. £4m squad bonus to stay up, £1m per position above 17th. That still blows my fucking mind considering each place is only worth £1.5m or less as it is To be fair, 10th place will see us Ashley earn about £125m like Plus player profits...
  4. Agreed. Although if they face Real or Bayern in the final they will lose. Klopp loses finals and Real in particular win CL finals. I just think they'll do the business enough at home to Roma or Real. Bayern might be organised enough to stop them. On a larger pitch in the final, (I'd assume), and without the home advantage I'd fancy them to narrowly lose as they won't have quite as much edge about them, defensively more than anything. Liverpool are very much a cup style side, with an outrageously good and fluid attack. However, they tend to press relentlessly and a top side on a largepitch would see them undone in a one off game I think. He's bound to win one again but I find Klopp's 5 final loss streak very interesting. I think the way his teams play, in a final with the nerves, they become inhibited and can't play to their usual level as his game is so physically demanding and also finals come at the end of the season when physical levels are in decline. I also think he's more coach than tactician, his teams play one way more often than not. Although i've only ever seen 2 of his finals. 1 the better team won (Bayern). 2 the more experienced European side won. Both games after half-time they were both abject. I read this article about top managers in finals. RAFA has a tremendous record. Not only is he usually calm, he's a great tactician. As we've seen he manages fitness levels superbly throughout the season and rotates. Mourinho - great record. If his teams find their mettle they tend to be unstoppable in finals. Ruthless like the man. Ancelotti has a great record. The only final he lost was Istanbul.... and obviously his team should've won that too. His swagger, his calm, must be infectious. He won the CL a few times as a player, everything about him is been there done that. Zidane has never a lost a final as a manager iirc. Again, this is a man who has been there and done it.. left foot volley to win a CL final not even the highlight of his career ffs. I've probably cursed it for a Liverpool win haven't I? Think the last CL final defeat Real had was to Liverpool too. If Klopp has any sense he'll be rotating these next few weeks heavily in the league. I agree with what you've said above
  5. My understanding was if you bounced back first time you got nowt, but then you gained the parachute payment for the second season. Could be wrong like...

They must be close to administration if they go down like? Isn't he even trying to sell the club for the value of it's debt?

  11. I think Liverpool are in with as much a chance of winning it as any of them TBH. I'd only fancy Bayern to stop them in the Semi's.

They've beaten Fulham already this season and drew with Wolves, wolves will be in party mode. I Doubt they will get anything at Fulham, but surely Fulham will run out of steam at some point, it's an amazing run they are on, but I do expect them to beat Wolves, if they still have something to play for on the last day of the season. Fulham will be at home and are playing a lot better than when they last played. Wolves will have a full allocation if not more (than the usual allocation) as they try and make football friends and keep their club afloat. Reading won't lose to Sunderland on Saturday even. We're all just being a bit too reactionary I think. Sunderland are utter dog shit.

They'll lose at Fulham and vs Wolves undoubtedly. That leaves them with 2 games to 4 more points than Bolton and 5 more than Birmingham? Looking at the fixtures it's not beyond the realms of possibility they could be in with a chance still at that stage but then they'll be dumped.

Reading will win and they'll draw with Burton at home. That'll be it.

A draw does nowt for them like. They really must win tonight irrespective of what happens elsewhere. If they don't win today they'll be down at the weekend.
  20. Manchester Mackems. They're fucking dog shit.

  22. Definitely. Then we'll spunk 50million on Diego Costa and we'll win the league
