Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays

Sorry to bore and pester y'all. However, today we painted one banner that is around 2/3's the width of the Gallowgate and also another of a similar width which is 2/3s complete. It took 7 of us around 4 or 5 hours to complete as much as we did and also spent minimal amounts as a result of the manual labour. We're aiming to go big and whilst our headers and footers are almost complete we need the funds to add our centre piece / Context. If anyone who hasn't done already could please donate, purchase some merchandise or a ticket for the quiz night that's due to happen on Friday 24th it'd be a great help to us and to achieving a memorable atmosphere for the 125th anniversary game vs LCFC. Thanks! -

Block V at the back and right of the Gallowgate as you look at it. I'd recommend this for the Everton game though as you won't be able to see the rest of the stadium for the celebrations. Other than that you probably want the strawberry corner. If I remember rightly block D I think it is. But basically anywhere near the back of the corner and near the Gallowgate. That's the South East corner if that helps at all. -

Lads and lasses... There's a 125 anniversary quiz coming up soon. If you're not off to see Kasabian then get yourselves along. It's sure to be a good laugh with prizes available. -
I'm very pro British but the decision whether to wear a poppy or not is exactly that. It's not an obligation and forcing it upon individuals is the direct opposite to what was being fought for... Freedom. That being said I am massively proud of our armed forces and servicemen and women. Soldiers don't make wars they fight them. McCleans decision to not wear a poppy isn't what makes him a cunt for me. He just is a cunt. How many Germans, Italians, French, Spanish etc etc have died at the hands of our armed forces by the way? I will admit though I find it irritating the whole anti-poppy mentality that's seemingly growing amongst younger people. It might be that I am stereotyping but it seems like something that isn't intended to be political is being made so and it feels like people try to avoid wearing them for fear of being labelled some sort of nationalist or fascist. I have friends and family serving in the forces and some of which are in the likes of South Sudan providing health care in the midst of a civil war. Themselves a target for either force potentially. We should be extremely proud of people like this.

No Newcastle United display today chaps and chapesses. To fall in line with the minutes silence commemorations. -
How dare you bring the Ameobi's into disrepute. Find a dark corner and have a word with ones self.

I think we'll be fired up today and will win comfortably. Whilst I agree with the above post we've started the season well. If we can have 20 points by the end of this month we'll have started very well.

Just like the Mackems and their 6 in a row nonsense this little prick is getting his comeuppance since the 3-0 photo. No loyalty, no passion, no professional pride and seemingly a total cunt.

Colback completely out the picture Quite literally like 5th or 6th choice

Champion. Cheers! I'll have a word with the group and see what we can share. Some initial plans have been scuppered but we're still aiming big. -
17 apparently. Shame. They'll probably scrape past that.

TBH I'm not an Elliott hater but tonight his lack of composure and commanding was evident. Don't think he was at fault for the goal but he could have easily caused more than 1. Fortunately, we were fairly solid defensively and ironically it was Lejeune being out of position (and obviously Perez) being weak that cost us in the end. Lack of quality and poor decision making in the final third was probably equally as costly as the former issues. Overall, two teams of a similar standard. Both well organised and have players maybe playing at their peak potential with the exclusion of one or two on each side who would maybe fit into better sides. Burnley to me are a fairly nothing club and are probably somewhat similar to Allardyces Bolton. Except Dyche isn't a douche and fat scam is. I suspect he'll not do as well elsewhere and actually I think he'd be daft to go to Everton or Leicester. The lack of investment is preventing probably both sides from maybe making a more solid shout for top ten finishes. The league isn't all that strong bar maybe 4 teams. Merino would have probably been the quality needed to tip the game in our favour tonight. A win vs Bournemouth when those above us have tough ties and all of a sudden everything is more than rosie again. We're still headed for comfortable safety and whilst tonight was frustrating we have no cause for concern. Carragher and Neville seemed to get us fairly right. Both seemed keen to have us taken over too

He seemed fairly furious tonight. Handled his interview well as always. 2 mistakes cost us tonight. Other than that we were solid.
