Aye. I reckon Gayle might come in today like. Just a sneaking suspicion. Rafa knows he can do it against these and it mightn't be the game plan they expect us to go in with. He didn't play against them last season fair play. Against this standard of opponent then I have a good feeling about today. A win could be huge for us. We'll have beaten Brighton, West Ham, Stoke and Swansea - all teams I'd expect in and around us come the end of the season and will have only really slipped up once against Huddersfield. However, with them to play at home and a few other teams such as Palace I think we're in good shape to stay up. Tbh so long as we aren't beaten today that's enough. A win though and we can play Liverpool with plenty confidence. Expect a goal or two from set plays vs them like. It's just whether or not they score more than us. As it stands 4 from the next 9 would be a canny return or 7 from the next 12. The way we are playing and the fixtures we have coming up I'm not really concerned about anyone up until Man United.

Wouldn't surprise me if he walked tbh.

There used to be a time where I thought I couldn't celebrate as much as I used to as a kid. My god though, when that went I I went fucking wild. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Aye. I was watching it at my Mams and my sister had to take everything off the table because I was prancing around like a baboon and shouting profanities. Was awesome though.

Imagine Liverpool having to play away at one of the big four next week (assuming we win of course)

Aye. Motson is a royal pain in the arse. Also like the look of Morata. Just tried to swap Rooney with him in my FF but that turned out to be a long shot.

Please don't say this.

Reported for being drunk and offensive.

Him and Bernard are probably the two best / my favourite LBs from my years supporting the Toon like. Both solid as a rock, and honorary Geordies.

I don't think you'd ever see any of that attitude from a Benitez side like. Could theoretically be like a third of our way to safety with a win tomorrow and 8 points clear Obviously we're gonna lose 2-1 like
-
We need to get to 40 ASAP then we can kick on. Another good result tomorrow (even a draw would do) and we're 6 points clear of the drop and a quarter of the way there...

My God. They're going to implode

No way Hughes will be sacked yet like.

Just the gift that keeps giving these soap dodgers aren't they?!

There needs to be a full investigation into football's governing bodies both here in the UK and UEFA and FIFA like. Who the people are, how they got where they are. Who's calling the shots, etc. The game is going to the dogs.

People are sad like.

We don't have the talent to win the league either, but we will.

Hopefully these bastards go 1 down in the first 30mins.

Looking an absolute steal atm

A third win on the trot and we're flying...

I literally came on this thread to type just this. Monstrous.

Well drilled, organised, driven and dedicated. Showed grit and determination rather than quality and class for the most part but glimpses of brilliance showed we were capable of doing damage, particularly from the likes of Merino. However, maximum praise has to be given to the coaching staff for their ability to continue without Rafa and moreso the way they have conducted themselves this week in Benitezesque fashion. Avoiding questions that compromised their roles and professional and morale positioning, focusing on the task at hand and ensuring the exact same message was delivered the exact same way to the players. Furthermore, I assume that this same message has been delivered on the pitch by our Captain today. Solid as a rock, flawless and snatching a quality headed goal in what turned put to be a thoroughly deserved win. He might not be the most technically capable but he has a good head on his shoulders, the right mentality and the right desire and heart. Today was a display for NUFC fans to be proud of. Let Sky and all the haters continue to hate, let them try and scorn us with their narrow minded and ill educated punditry because on days like today we show them up for what they are. If Benitez has been working on a project then today was a good example of it coming to fruition. Not a man on that pitch came off without giving 200% and every one of them understanding what it means to play for Newcastle United. Long may it last.
