  1. Worst thing about this paruicular window will be that there will be around ten days of Sky and the media justifying the lack of expenditure made from Ashley and advising us, the fans who want to compete with Man City financially and Barcelona on a football footing that we are wrong despite everyone doing the maths and it not all adding up and one of the greatest managers of all time being pissed off. No one should watch tomorrow's transfer shit show who is a Newcastle fan. Pointless and annoying. Tbh we just shouldn't entertain sky after that cuntshow with David Craig and we should have a banner saying [email protected]
  2. Good luck to the fella. Served his purpose and that's it.
  3. I didn't dispute that it was needless and a bit stupid. Just that it's also being made more than it was and that it probably goes on all game. It looks worse because Lanzini is turning otherwise it'd probably have been nowhere near his face and nowt would be being said. 10-15years ago he would never be getting the retrospective ban for me like.
  4. Title change required like. Something of nowt and Lanzini dipping his head as he turns makes it look worse. Wasn't deemed a foul then and had MotD not mentioned it, it probably wouldn't have even been reviewed. Think it's a bit of a disgrace he got the ban to be honest. It may have been needless but it was hardly a fully fledged elbow or done with much (if any malice). Just standard bit of afters that most players will give but because he had a reputation he's been punished. This wouldn't have happened had it have been Kane or one of the top strikers. He will have been told to accept the fine and Rafa will have said you need to control the aggression and use it more wisely and that without being clever he is costing the squad. To completely take that aggression from his game render him useless (or more useless for some of you). He's third choice for me as a striker and based on West Ham, Joselu would be first. But it's early days. Overall I think top level football is just getting a bit of a joke tbh. Too poncey and sanitised. The passion is being sucked out of it. To me it's probably just the people who don't rate Mitro complaining cause they have a chance to rather than seeing it without bias.
  5. If you's are gonna bring Chat into Football then at least make it the Lush Lasses thread, you greaseball petrolheads.
  6. Wasn't expecting that. I need to watch this Mitro elbow like. I suspect it's people flapping owa nowt
  7. Is there a video of this?
  8. Personally, I'm bored to the back teeth of this whole scenario. Cannot wait for the window to shut and our next game to just move on from this whole debacle. Rafa has enough in his locker to keep us afloat with the current squad I think. I don't see him walking mid-season either. The media kick up a stir regardless of whether they're piping off the fat cuntroller because we sell. People wanna know about us cause we're not a poxy little club. People just shouldn't entertain the permenant shit show in the media and focus on the positives for now I think. May be a little naive but fuck me we've waited some time for someone of this calibre to come here. I'm just a bit fed up with the constant shite
  9. Likewise, I probably would. Just saying it's not huge amounts of money really.
  10. He just sits in it though. Driving it would be too dangerous.
  11. Besides. 20million isn't all that much in today's market, albeit it is probably about the right valuation.

The introduction of Block V will be huge for the atmosphere. It means both sides of the Gallowgate have vocal sections and it pushes those in between to get involved. Once the Gallowgate gets going the other stands sometimes join in, but nonetheless that one stand can make plenty noise. That, combined with the fact no-one expects to win anymore and the Benitez scenario is all helping too. Should be like that every game if not louder like from here on.

The corner is probably less constant but equally as noisy like. You're right about the standing though.
  14. It's probably Wor Jackie from in here. Good lad he is. Him and his sons belt out songs every game. I'm just right of you and down by the sounds of things...

Aye. Unofficially you can stand and if you're going to help and get involved with the atmosphere I'd strongly recommend the corner or block v
  16. I haven't read the latest in this thread but I am sick to the back teeth of people offering their 'alternative opinions' on why Rafa (despite being our only hope) is playing a 'mare at the moment. Ashley is the problem. Ashley lied and misled fans. Ashley has done this all before with our heroes. Ashley is a cunt. Now let's give Rafa some hope and get behind him and his lads today. Together we can turn this around regardless of that twat of an owner. The rest will come out in the washing.
  17. Tell me how is a team that never played together with a few told they are surplus to requirements only 12 days ago meant to play together and want to put a good performance in etc? Sorry, but the manager has tried to use them tonight as pawns in his political battle with the owner. That I do not deny. But tell me how performing like an absolute pile of wank and putting no effort in makes someone else want to employ you? None, but they are all on good wages so I suspect it makes zero difference to them. They won't be for long and their careers are short as it is. Whilst I wouldn't mind being a penny behind them, they're being naive if they think performances like tonight will see them through a nice lifetime of expenditure.
  18. Was terrible on tonight's showing. Motivated or not.

  20. Don't disagree with a lot of that but my God we did not deserve to win that game at all like. Not in any time. Rafa played his political game tonight whilst doing what a number of Premier League teams do and fielding a weakened side against terribly week opposition. Except we aren't a Premier league side. He knew what he was doing, providing a platform for players who need to leave to perform and prove their worth to other clubs. Said players didn't take their chance as they were woeful both in terms of quality and in terms of effort. Players like Saivet, Lazaar, Hanley? Aarons and Diame were the only shining lights from the original 11 and Aarons faded as time went on. The rest were fucking useless. No communication, no cohesion, no confidence or composure. Everything a Benitez team isn't. Whilst that says a lot for his arguably controversial man management. He sees this every day at training so maybe he was just bringing it to everyone's attention just how shit this squad is. Rafa played his part in our cup exit tonight, but no less than the players and certainly not the owner. Saturday is a cup final and God knows we're shit in them too (in recent history). So expect a fan base on a knife edge. A steady half an hour to an hour and then West Ham to score off an avoidable goal. No strength in depth and not enough quality on the pitch. We all know why this is, unless any of you are sucking off Keith Bishop, Ashley or their Sky bumchums. Fuck me man. Only at Newcastle would we have one of the best and most successful managers of all time and be in this scenario. The gift that keeps giving. If there's one semblance of hope it is in the man himself (Rafa). Has to be Spurs' levels of support for him on Sunday and an all out cry for what we all believe in and love.
