  1. We need a whole new spine for me like. If we wanna stay comfortably in the PL. Shelvey is okay with his new-found athleticism and is comfortably our most creative player, you'd need someone like a Kante in beside him though to make him really effective at the next level. We'd need a top class CB, and captain material at that, but I just think that might upset the apple-cart a bit and finally a Striker. I'd say a Goalkeeper but I think with a more solid CB that'd provide a bit more confidence to the likes of Darlow and actually I don't think it's a particularly weak area of our player, or certainly none more-so than other positions. It should be; Darlow Yedlin CB Clark LB RM Shelvey DM Ritchie Target Man / #10 Gayle A RM wouldn't worry me too much if it was say Atsu for example, or even Gouffran for the games where we're required to be more compact, but we really should be looking to better than both of those long term. Get a CB, CM and Striker though and we should have enough to compete, injuries pending.
  2. I thought it was Darlow's fault?
  3. The music? Aye, ring of fire, but it was just like ridiculous. So glad we have Going Home (Local Hero).
  4. He's the best defender at the club. His communication seemed fine under McLaren so I don't know what's changed. He's nowhere near that. Best defender at the club is Clark IMO. He's easily it. You's raise a good point, based on this season it is Clark. I think as an all round ball player Mbemba is better but as for no nonsense defending Clark is your man. Would be interesting to see them alongside one another at some point.
  5. What the fuck is this shit at Brighton?
  6. Shelvey, Ritchie, Gayle, Yedlin ? Not sure who else really (I get the impression /I have missed someone obvious )
  7. It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if we won the next two games then lose at home to like Fulham and someone else shit.
  8. I'm sure I read somewhere that he is having problems with the language / communicating and I think that's the issue. Otherwise I cannot see what the problem would be as he is comfortably our best CB.
  9. Think we were playing well anyway from the first minute of the second half but still, he's League One/Two at best and needs to be the first out the door this summer. *now.
  10. Had plenty of warnings. Doubt this will change anything. TBF normally we pick up a good run of games after a shit performance. Hopefully this time it's the same. 6 points this week will virtually seal us promotion. We've played poorly since December and have been scraping results. Aye, but we've been getting results nonetheless. There are players in this team that we still need rid of, our squad isn't as strong as people make out, but it's still looking likely we can go up as Champions.

  12. With any luck it'll prove to be a good result for us in that, we might have our arses kicked and well into shape for Tuesday instead of going in thinking it's a fucking breeze again. 2 huge games now.
  13. That's happened twice at home already this season, it's worrying. Wolves and Blackburn. Thing is it has to come from the players really, but Lascelles should be going apeshit with them. They should have learned their lessons by now.
  14. Really, I think to a certain degree the skipper needs to take some responsibility and the players themselves for the way they started the game. It's cost us 3 points today through sheer arrogance from what I can gather.
  15. It's not good enough but we simply must get the draw at least. Especially if Huddersfield draw.
