  1. His only arguable yellow was for the tackle on the keeper and sorry like but that was just a bit of a wreckless, Ill timed coming together. The commentators have probably watched 5mins of Mitros time here and made the assumption he's just a dirty bastard. Everyone is forgetting the blatant obstruction and climbing all over him all first half. One chance and one goal in a half of football that seen us create two chances. He had to be brought off for the good of Mitro and the team. Arguably his time may be done here but yesterday's substitution had no relevance other than ensuring a Toon win. People going on as if he was a liability and horse shit yesterday should try playing as a lone striker vs 4 cheats and see if they could do better. It's almost like some people have never played football before. Or would they just prefer a non contact sport? The eagles are canny mint like if non contact is what they prefer??
  2. I'm guessing you're not kidding either. Last time I noticed you on here was when you said he was a better option for midfield than Shelvey. Quite it and I will explain my rationale
  3. Get in. Can watch him when I go out there. Tiote > Ben Arfa
  4. What on earth are the words to that Rafa song? Highlight of the match btw, ridiculous bit of control by the Rotherham LB in the second half. Received a deserved round of applause from the whole crowd. I thought success was only true in fairy tales, Meant for some club else but not NUFC, Success was out to get us, Or that's the way it seemed, Disappointment haunted all our dreams... *But then I saw his face, OH RAFA BENITEZ! Not a trace, of doubt in my mind, I'm in love! (Optional ooooooooh ) Oh we have got Rafa and he is the gaffa of the might magpies! *repeat until bored Lad next to me "I wish he'd pipe down with that one, it's not catching on" You hae to keep singing songs for them to catch on. Especially at home. Some lads were starting to join in around me at the back of the corner. Didn't think it was too bad a song personally. At least it's not a boring, droning chant like half of them. :-)

  6. Rotherham Sold out, huffed and puffed, but not quite enough. Hats off. Fans can be proud for their attitude and application, if nowt else.
  7. It should never really come to that but when it did he was there. Changed the game today.
  8. Aye, but he recovered it. He was allowed to do so via his defence but nonetheless and outstanding recovery save.
  9. Also, at this rate Darlow is a future #1 for England...
  10. Elliott was one of our best "performers" last season. Don't be twats because his lower level ability gives you the belief that you're justified in bollocks statements. Form is temporary, class is permanent. For justification, see Darlow.
  11. /he wore a magic hat but unfortunately his brain grew.

    Daryl Murphy

    Murphy > Gayle > Mitro

Was mint today when he came on. Like a tall Ginola
  14. Call me biased and pissed of which both I am but Darlow is making himself out to be in contention for England's #1. It's one thing to make a fuck up but to recover it the way he did was like...a cut above
  15. I'm part of the group and let's just say it wasn't a unanimous decision.
  16. Tbh i reckon people decide they don't like someone and become unmoveable in that too. I cannot stand Colback but he was quite effective when he came on tonight in that he played more positive passes than Tiote.
  17. He was bought as a striker. If I recall rightly it was Pardew who shifted him out of his role. As I said he is limited but given he has never been given a decent stint as a striker for us and gives 200% all the time he deserves more slack than he gets for me.
  18. I disagree with this. Gouffran is a recognised striker to me. Sentiment is right though.
  19. Quoted. For Sir Bob's case.
