The answer to our poor performances is that we lack width and drive. Smith getting booked in the 2nd minute killed the game for us on Saturday.

How many squad places is there?
-
Nope. I could have sworn I seen it advertised. Nobby's an absolute legend just for the record.
-
but you're only 6. loled I was about 17 at the time, actually.

One of my favourite ever away trips was Sheff United and we went on the train. I got blitzed out my face and don't remember anything after leaving central when I got back. Was hilarious, we won and the atmosphere was mint.

Adebayor vs Arsenal. Controversial, but it summed up alot of football in one simply celebration. Tino vs whoever it was. The one when he puts his shirt ont he corner flag and waves it - what an absolute legend. Shearers - All of them. Simple but effective and the one handed salute became his trademark a silhouette of any footballer with their hand up leaning forward and you know who it is. Shola Ameobi's young gun celebration. Just because it's Shola, what a guy, his cute smile sets it off. p.s. he went to Heaton Manor. Ketsbaias against whoever it was. Absolutely immensely insane. Dabizas vs Sunderland. He loved it, you know it, I know it, the whole world knows it. Robert's end of season celebration. A little bit bent taking all his clothes off down to his boxers but it was unique and he appeared to love the place. Oba' Martins when he signed. Running round the centre circle waving a scarf reminded me of Tino, for that reason and that reason only it was mint.

Aye, canny lads like, you can always rely on them.

Nobby was the best overseas player this country has ever seen, just ahead of Tino Asprilla, Habib Beye and Sebastien Bassong.
-
Both are lies. I've just spoke with my mate Chris who is normally bang on and he says that they just got slight knocks in training so they finished earlier to rest ahead of Saturdays game. Colin confirmed this when I spoke to him too.

 Barton is a grade "A" cunt. He's done fuck all for us in his time here, he's constantly been involved in off the field bollocks before here and he's on 60K a week. Why the fuck should any single one of us defend his actions? Until he seriously plays up to his so called ability then he will never have an ounce of respect from me. Left wing or not doesn't give a proffessional footballer any excuse when they can't pass a ball 10 fucking yards. I bet the same people giving that argument were probably slating Nicky Butt against QPR. Both have been shit for us since they came, Butt being the model professional but past it and Barton being the untireable cunt who talks but doesn't walk. I tell you what Joey, as already said - when you perform we'll give you a leg to stand on, but until then just wheel yourself back to the shithole you climbed out of. Twat.

They mentioned last night it was his penultimate game. Ah right, I just seen the last 10minutes, was quite entertaining. I was happy when Peru scored, but I knew Argentina were going to as soon as they piled forward again. Who do Peru play on Wednesday and at what time can this be seen?

When's Nobbys last game? Was it last night?

Not entirely. IIRC from my P.E. days an objects centre of gravity can have a large effect on acceleration and in tall people the centre of gravity is higher. Also, more friction is acting upon heavier people as well as more air resistance. You cannot possibly say it is all down to genetics and muscle mass. It included streamlining and turbulence and s**** like that too. Just look at a set of sprinters, most of them are fairly tall with loads of muscle mass. Alot is down to genetics aswell, people with a lot of fast twitch muscle fibres can generate greater short bursts of strength and speed but have poorer stamina. It's pretty obvious Ranger is built like that from his jumping and acceleration and the fact that naturally he seems to tire quite quickly. I appreciate that, but acceleration in particular is not entirely down to muscle mass and genetics which was my point. A select number of athletes who match your description doesn't necessarily prove anything in the general argument, because in society it is likely smaller people will have better acceleration, for the same reason as a motorbike accelerates quicker than a wagon. I appreciate that that argument also has it's flaws like... Its basically the same as a car, Power to Weight Ratio then aerodynamics. A Bugatti Veyron accelerates faster than a nissan Micra yet ways 3 times as much. Yeah, so basically - my original point that it wasn't simply about genetics was correct.

Tino - what a bloke. Got to be my favourite player apart from Shearer. He was legendary.
-
Wish we had Freddy Shephard still he was a mitn chairman.
-
Assuming you've got the name wrong, what was the bloke saying?? It was the punter from NUSC iirc...he was basically saying that they should be seriosuly considered by Mike Ashley as an alternative bid for the club to Barry Moat, etc, etc. It just sounded completely ridiculous. He was going on as well like they were some sort of massive business basically saying somehting along the lines of "Barry Moat can work with us if he wants, we're open to him", when the shoe is blatantly on the other foot. Just sounded like a complete mong, and I could actually isualise the SMB's watching it thinking mongoloided Geordie Bastards. Embarassing stuff imo.

Let's excuse Beye and Bassong from that. Because I like them.
-
Listening to Michael Shields or whatever he's called on ITV's North East tonight earlier made me think of one name and one name only Warrick Hunt.

I hope to God Real Madrid win fuck all.
