No - he's had his time, now let's move on.

He won't put us into administration. *sigh* Don't sigh at me...bitch.

What was great about the Keegan days was no-one necessarily expected us to win the title, we were always the underdog, and therefore the thought of success was always almost dream-like. The Keegan days were like an Adidas advert saying "Impossible is nothing." However, I will be sincerely pissed off if Keegan effectively puts us into administration. Although you cannot really blame the fella, as it is perfectly within his rights to contest money that is essentially his.

well piers, I wouldn't shake your hand unless I'd just wanked off a syphillitic pig with mine. You would still shake his hand...

3-1 I can see the headlines now. Kish' settles in as Maaarlon Is cooking on gas. -
What has Keegan done wrong though? He walked out of the job after being undermined and lied to. What happened afterwards was all down to the board being incompetent. Him wanting compensation is what every manager does, and even if its excessive I don't blame him after the attempted smear campaign in the press by those running the club - people with no business being in football. Keegan is supposed to love the club, and by loving the club and area I would at least expect them not to fuck both up for the sake of a few bob. I'm sure King Kev and his family are fucking loaded and don't particularly need all this cash... If he weren't to fuck the fans over by basically helping us go into administration, then he would become far more popular again...and maybe his intentions as our manager the second time round would become slightly more believable... Like previously mentioned - he cannot be totally innocent in it all...surely.

The Quiche? Has someone been Khizin, his vili? He was half decent the other day.

Like we are for being obsessed with their attendances? Who said I was talking about Sunderland attendances?

Cracking result - I didn't expect a win, never mind a 4-0 one. However, I thought a large part of this appeared to have been down to the crowd and occassion. I was expecting Portman Road to be buzzing and really up for it, and the team to be fired up from the dog molesters team talk. Yet, they simply seemed in awe of the occassion and almost frightened of a strong but comfortable performance from our lot. The atmosphere surprised me alot, and everything Ipswich Town did on the day seemed to fall short of my expectations - except for the Sir Bobby tributes (on a side note that Laura Wright was stunning). If Sir Bobby was watching down on that I have no doubts he would have loved to see the lads in Black and White looking so dominant, but I think he would have been fairly disappointed by their performance (Ipswich). As for the songs, I thought at 4-0 a rather venomous few renditions of "You fat cockney b******" sounded rather amusing, and the t*** deserved nothing less after turning up to such an occassion without even putting a tie on. It was embarassing, to see the Ipswich lot all smartly dressed and that fat b****** stood their like he'd just been for a nice coffee in some swanky London cafe. It actually pissed me off quite alot. The one time I recal any noise throughout the game from Ipswich was when they sang "we never sacked Bobby Robson" after we sang "sacked in the morning". While the occassion was hardly the time to be so harsh to one another, it was - on the other hand - fitting that a football crowd gave a bit football banter. All in all, a decent event and a fairly good send off for Sir Bob. Roll on QPR...

Sounds like hype/tripe.

Pathetic fuckers.

Good post. However, what people have to ask themselves is that if they are willing to be so blunt and open about how they hate Mike Ashley (who has done f*** all to them personally but had a massive effect on the club) they at least have to consider how Keegan could effect the club, and have to have some sort of discontent about his apparent decision to go through with this case. It would be double-standards to hate one with a passion and to not even temporarily dislike the other. Obviously Keegan has done so much more for us as a club in the past, which I'm sure we can all be grateful for, but this certaintly doesn't mean he can get out of a scenario like this clean of criticism.
-
Those two bits are about as unlikely as each other so you've no real argument. As I mentioned - it wasn't an 'argument' just another way to look at it.
-
Not necesarily my opinion but here's another way of looking at it. Whatever Ashley has done to f*** the club is now part of the past - we've been relegated and Ashleys price for the club has severely dropped as a result. Whatever Keegan does effects our future and whether we bounce back to "where we should be". Furthermore, IF we were to get promoted again this season, and return to the Premiership. Ashley was to bring in a good group of high quality scouts, coaches, the whole lot, and spend a bit of money. Then if we didn't have overpaid wankers like last time round in the top flight - how many people would be arsed about Ashley? Keegan potentially putting us in administration results in a point deduction - can we still get enough points to get promoted...it's highly unlikely (based on the automatic spots). Another season in this division would cripple us even more, and "bouncing back" would become an even larger mountain to climb. Everyone thinking Ashley is a t*** is perfectly right, and I'm not defending him. However, to go on as if Keegan is perfectly innocent, especially if he does this, is quite remarkable. Because to effectively put us into administration, he quite simply is a tit - if this is a "club he loves".

Torres is shit.
-
Was impressed with all of our strikers today. Maaaarlon slotted in fine, despite being off chef duty from round the farm.
-
Whoopie Goldberg, John Travolta and Sting.
-
The club will go into administration and Keegan will get the club by default instead of his compensation. I get the impression you're taking the pish.
-
Is it right that if Kevin Keegan receives his compensation we can go into administration? The Mother reckons that el radio-stacion says that loik.
-
It was Ryan Taylor - Fact. Either him or Darren Ambrose.
-
Obviously not. We should just improve on it - which is something I believe Ashley has got reasonably right...as there has been some form of improvement regarding the quality of youngsters at the club. I still think there is a massive amount of improvement needed though if we want to have a top academy. With a quality academy it sets the perfect foundation for a club to go on and become successful.

I've just been watching through some of the various tributes and stuff from today and the last few months and it really does bring it home to you just why you love football, and how you should love life. P.S. I'm with Otter on this - stop the bitching about Lineker this and Beckham/Mourinho that - nobody gives a f***.
