  1. no it wasn't. it makes newcastle fans look like a bunch of twats. Not really - it's no different from singing something along the lines of he's only a poor little hammer which you've probably sang before. Other songs like Geordie boys we are here, etc. They're all no different...
  2. (Not to the above post but as a general outlook) Cannot believe some people like. The Ashley Fat Cockney Rapist banner was brilliant - as previously mentioned a bit ont he edge but he has driven us so far I think it's kind of acceptable. Thumbs up to the other banner in the Gallowgate too. I can't help but feel that some of the older support in the ground are all too happy to whinge about Mike Ashley in a bar before and after the game and criticise those youngsters trying to make a stand. Maybe if they were there making a stand too there would be less "Chavs" and other youngsters in the public eye by the time the stories hit the press? I missed the pre-match protests and sang just about every song that belted from Leazes Level 7. In my opinion the atmosphere was pretty flat in other parts of the ground apart from the occassional Newcastle chant and one Ashley Out chant which belted out of the Gallowgate following an altercation with the steward about the afore mentioned banner. The main significant chant was "Stand up for St James' Park" which unsurprisingly started from the Leazes Corner again - maybe a biased opinion but it's one I'm happy top share. Is it just me or are a very small minority of people just anti-singing section/Toon Ultras? Also, I personally believe that many people are willing to comment on the protests labelling everyone who went as Charvas - were you there? If so are you a charva and if protesting was so stupid why were you there unless you had a camera and a note pad to write a story!? Protesting had f*** all to do with getting rid of Ahsley in one swell swoop - it was about making him feel uncomfortable. I expect alot of the negative charva element and some of the more stupid songs to be well documented in the press. However, there were a number of good chants as well at the reception after the game - Stand up for St James Park and Sit Down For St James Park being two of them. The sit down one should have been done for longer just so it looked nice and peaceful with a sense of We Shall Not Be Moved if you like. Again just to go back to the point I wanted to make - some of the fans complaining about what people sang need to shut the f*** up - the one section that really got behind their team constantly yesterday was the Corner in Level 7 - whether it be 75% team chants and 25% Anti-Ashley is irrelevant. In my very own biased opinion the Leazes Level 7 comes out with the most credibility as far as backing the team goes so shut the f*** up if you sit on your hands all game singing f*** all and don't like it when Get Out of Our Club is aired several times. No-one ever made a platform for changing a shower of s*** sat in their armchair in the library.
  3. Everyone attending the match should go outside the ground and sing for the team during the match because they'd still hear us. Then protest before and after as well as boycotting. Would send a massive message to the board and team tbh.

Ashley is a w*****, He wears a wankers hat, He bought New-castle U-nited, and f***ed it up at that. He put us in Bananas, and sold the naming rights, all I know is that the fat c***, should be shot with our s****. Ashley is a w*****, He wears a wankers hat, He wears Umbro triple XL, because he's f***ing fat. He'll try to f*** us over, But not without a fight, Because this club is always ours, and we will prove that it right.
  5. Protesting now seems totally illogical (is that a word?). However, it MUST be done. I'll be honest, last season I wasn't a fan of the protests after Keegan and I had originally cut the board some slack until I knew more about the dealings behind the scene. As naive as that has now proven to have been, it made sense to me at the time - innocent 'til proven guilty I guess. Now I fast forward a year, I see a paper thin squad of half decent players fighting for OUR cause, I guess in some ways it's cleared alot (but not all) of the dead-wood we had. Yet since that fast forward, I can't help but feel like I've been "mugged off" by our very own spiv. Statements that quotes were purely a PR exercise and the fact they've admitted to misleading fans has lost them any credibility, even if they did have an extremely tiny amount....if any at all. That occurence as well as relegation has been more than enough for me to realise - it wasn't just the players not performing, and it wasn't bad business decisions that have lead us to this scenario. A power-mad business man and his cronies is. Since those first protests I can't help but reflect on the last year, and think what if we hadn't have protested - would he still be doing anything possible to fuck us off or would he have steadied the ship a bit more? Would we have stayed up? Would we have a new owner? A new manager? Squad even? The answers to those questions will never be certain, but I can have a pretty good guess that we'd have hit this moment nevertheless. A business man as mentioned - someone not only involved in business but he's obviously fucking good at it. This is his toy, this is the toy like our action men, when it's had one arm broken - we chuck it to the top shelf, or the back of the cupboard only to get it out again after a long while and throw it about like a worthless bit of plastic. In this sense, Ashley bought his action man, he made it look better - gave it a new set of camouflage kit, he even gave it a few half decent weapons. Then he sold some of his best weapons to make a cheap quid in his very own car boot sale. He broke its arm off and chucked it in the back of his wardrobe - only to get it out again after a few months. He then put it in a bright yellow dress and sent it off on it's way and now he's even trying to call it Barbie. No wonder he can't sell the cunt. He probably just wants to bin it. FFS, maybe I thought nothing of him selling the best weapons for a quick quid or two but this is going too far now. We've sat back and let him take his toy - our club - our passion - our love and strip it of its dignity for too long. Whether protesting against it fixes the broken arm, puts it back in its Black and White camouflage or keeps it's name of St James' or even Newcastle is almost irrelevant. But one thing you can look back on, if you do make a stand is that you tried to make that difference. I guess I kind of regret not thinking that before, and while it's not always the answer sometimes making a stand makes the difference. Just like when your Dad glued the arm back on and fixed your beloved toy. Confused and stupid maybe but it made sense to me. Time to make a difference out of the ground as well as in it I say.
  6. I can understand why people don't see the point, but surely it's about time we took a proper stand....
  7. Staying behind is a mint idea, but it would require a certain amount of people to make it successful. 20,000 fans remanining stood in St James' for an hour or two would be immense.
  8. Providing I know of the various protests and I agree with how they plan to take action I will be protesting. It's gone too far now for me - far too far. Can someone supply a list of supposed porotests please?
  9. Good idea from the Toon ultras if I do say so myself.

    George Caulkin

Love most of the things he says. I really do get wound up about the stadium name - it is metaphorically like ripping one of your main arteries from your heart.
  11. Had quite a heated discussion last night about Dennis Wise, Ashley and Sky as well as about us being a big club. We both had very different ideas about the issues, but one thing I do agree with him on, is the fact that SKY only do controversial things to gain more viewers. Which you cannot really blame them for - but they are still cunts.
  12. Could we all pay £300 or something and name it St James' Park - The Peoples Choice? Would be quite amusing although it's a shit name...
  13. Terrible idea and I actually don't like him. However, nice to see he considers us in a good light.

  15. Care to explain why not? He probably think it may pressure ashley into allowing a loan signing or something, or maybe even sack Hughton. Simply because it will further fury fans, instead of masking over the shower of shit we have just been hit with. It wont have any massive effect like, but I think if we could protest for that one game last season when the situation was considerably better, then surely now is the time to all Unite against this cunt.
  16. Is it possible that a company could by the name of the stadium and re-name it St James' Park? Shepherd should well do that.
  17. A defeat here may not necessarily be a bad thing.
  18. I've got my signed (by the man himself) Sir Bob #1 NUFC shirt framed with one of his quotes and the "Wor Bobby" beer labels for my birthday....absolutely love it.
  19. They must have been completely mortal from the long journey up form London.

    Chris Hughton

He'll get us back to the Premier'. He will also have my full backing as manager.
  21. Ashley has basically said "Your club?!! I think you'll find it's mine. Watch this, this is what I can do." Then proceeded to take it off the market, appoint Hughton and change the name of the ground, all of which are likely to anger fans to varying degrees. I really hate to say it, but it's at this point as much as I disagree with it boycotting might be the final solution.
  22. I'd actually consider boycotting the next match if the renaming of the ground goes ahead.
  23. I actually completely detest this man. He is almost on par with Adolf.
