  1. Again, curious, do you think it's as nailed on that he's chosen Man United and it's a matter of time as what the Social Media 'Shitters and our paranoid fanbase think? Or do you think it's 50/50?
  2. Is it not a moot point though? If our chairman says "He's not for sale." And Liverpool are reportedly offering like 30million shy of his value and not willing to go anywhere near close then it's a done thing (for now).
  3. They'll have had it all on lockdown I'd think. Isak has to work there for 3 years still and has been clearly told he's going nowhere. So shut the fuck up and do your job Alex. No one can afford our asking price (if it exists at £150m too).

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Loving the pre-cursor comments for "Eddie Out" again come November/December.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

The excitement has been extracted from like all high profile signings now that's the thing. It no longer comes out of the blue. It's literally like: Then lasts the whole summer.
  6. Reason I ask is because, for me, from an outsider looking in, Man United have signed good, capable players for decent sums and given them decent wages but have had an underpinning attitude issue that rather than being flushed out has been exacerbated and taken advantage of. Which isn't so much a transfer issue but a management issue from the very top down. I think Ten Hag went some way to eradicating that personally and so has Amorim, and actually think you'll have a better season this year finishing in and around 4th to 10th, but just wouldn't consider Man United's transfer activity a key cause for their downfall. As for Newcastle, I think we've done very little wrong since the Saudi's came in at a playing level, coaching level or even on transfers but where we seemingly have had issues is behind the scenes at senior levels as a structure is attempted to be implemented and big personalities obviously haven't fit the mould or seen eye to eye. FFP also seems to have us handcuffed somewhat though by comparison owing to recent history.
  7. Do you put your transfer business down to poor scouting/signings or management of said signings though?
  8. Okay so I deleted that after I realised how much folk would get excited... but now it's reinstated cause folk should start tweeting this for shits and giggles...
  9. It feels like a negative agenda towards Newcastle publicly but I suspect it's more that it's a positive "Big 6" agenda that we're just the collateral damage of. How dare someone have the audacity to challenge them and "bridge the gap". Mind, I feel like those with a negative inclination are making more out of some of the updates on our own side too. All the social media ITK muppets saying he wants Man United...then why isn't it done? Apparently deals are agreed, etc. If they won't meet our bid and that's the stumbling block then it's easy isn't it. Reject their bid and accept ours. If he's accepted our bid too then that's it. It all just seems excessive so that one or two arseholes get a better pay out for their social media bullshit.
  10. Romano: Šeško here we go! Benjamin makes u-turn and opts for the Toon as he dives into a saveloy dip at Dicksons! Good morning Toon fans! ⬛⬜️
  11. Also what we mustn't lose sight of is we have one of the best 4/5 managers in the league, if not the best.
  12. You probably would have ahead of say Jacob Murphy and Joe Willock though like 3 years ago..
  13. All just designed to create excitement and clicks and all that shite.
  14. Bit bored and to be honest getting fucked off with the media. However, it's nothing new is it. I'll believe who Sesko wants when I see the decision made and a contract being signed/shirt being held up.
  15. Sorry...I keep dropping in... is this done or is it just more journo waffle?
  16. Aye - I suspected there was some media play about Sesko choosing "United" like. He is, if he goes to either btw. I don't really get the whole media narrative, it's really weird. They really must be in the pockets of the "big 6". You'd think a more competitive league would lead to better entertainment wouldn't you, more viewers, etc. It's like a form of heroin this transfer window. We're all hooked on it, but it is tirelessly bad for us and actually just making us all worse. Want it over with and the season starting.
  17. Everyone would tell us that though, right?
  18. What's happened, in short? Man United have made a bid, is that it?
  19. There is absolutely no certainty about your opening statement. Also what are you on about a few good signings cannot remedy it? Of course they can. One player doesn't make a squad.
  20. Feels like around a week ago folk were whinging we were showing no movement and not enough willingness to make the signings we want/wanted and we weren't doing enough to demonstrate our strength or position on Isak. We've since had the owners and the manager basically stick it to Liverpool and Isak and have lumped a massive wedge on a potential new number 9 and now it's "Ah he's not worth that" and all sorts of other negativity. We may have a better 1st (or 2nd) keeper. A better 1st (or 2nd) right winger and we certainly have a better 2nd striker if we sign Sesko. So we've strengthened in 3 areas as it would stand signing Sesko.
