My suspicion is that it will remain quiet until the squad return from the far east, more speculation will ensue and more heat will be turned up by the media, and we'll reiterate he's not for sale. It'll then go cold until the next window and it'll all start again before him eventually being sold next summer and us having 2 or 3 signings lined up for next summer. If Isak didn't want any of this, he could come out and say, so that suggests to me he's keen to see how much and who wants him. I think his only saving grace long term is if he sacks off his agent and says he took some bad advice then bangs the goals in. Not sure where else he'd get a display like that last season. Howe has helped get the very best out of him, as has everyone at the club, his team mates should also be disappointed by the way in which he's dealt with it (again assuming it's all true). I'm more disappointed than angry at this stage, and also more suspicious than outright against him.
