Shut the fuck up Swanson lad
-
Don't follow England at all but that kit is the bee's knees. All the more surprising considering it's from fucking Umbro.

Noticed when I picked up the Informer in the pub last night that there's a production on in Durham to mark the occasion. You might be interested in it. http://www.visitcountydurham.com/site/whats-on/gala-theatre-alf-ramsey-knew-my-grandfather-p304561 Think I might pop along if I can find the time.

Not sure about now but I remember serving him down the pub a couple of years ago. He bought a lime Bacardi Breezer and paid for it in coppers. Stunk like a cunt.

Gotta' say the PA system was impressive like. Could hear it clearly all the way down from the metro to the Duke. Could do with getting it installed at the ground, tbh. Are you listening, Mike?

Dave Whelan talking about it on SSN and all.

Sending kisses and waving

Remember going down to The Bodega after last years derby and seeing trouble starting around there and spreading to Central.
-
Hot footed it straight to the Duke after the match. Any reports of trouble flaring up anywhere?
-
Those infamous Sky Sources reckon he's having a medical right now. Fee agreed, apparently.

In the East Stand.
-
I sit just lower than half way up the East Stand, halfway between the halfway line and the Gallowgate. Used to have a ticket in the corner just below the away fans but moved around four/five seasons ago.

Think I'm going to be meeting up for a pint in the next week or so I'll ask more about it then. Still surprised he's been getting trials at any kind of club, to be honest. Had nowt special about him a few years ago. -

Fuck knows. Just said the club had got in touch with him yesterday to arrange it all. I can never see him being good enough to get any kind of contract offer. -

A lad who I used to go to school with and played footy with for a few teams has got a trial with us coming up in May, apparently. Just been speaking to him for the first time in years and he's just come back from Standard Liege. Had spells for Leicester, Coventry and played for England U-19s and all, so he says. Used to be nothing more than a distinctly average right back but seems to have been in the right place at the right time. Mackem an all. -
Would be great if there was an online poll. Southampton done it a few years back for fans to choose the new home kit. Aye and it was then sabotaged by shit loads of Pompey fans who put a boat load of votes down for the gashest kit you could imagine. Not a great idea.

Weren't Everton linked with a move for him before we had him on trial? e: Indeed they were. Hamburg, Wolfsburg and Dinamo Bucharest too, apparently. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2008/07/05/french-defender-sebastien-bassong-keen-on-move-to-everton-100252-21266097/
