Bigger capacity means more day trippers. The current capacity is enough to satisfy demand from actual fans. There's already plenty moaning about atmosphere, be even worse with a bigger influx of day trippers. The atmosphere was actually far better when we had a 36K capacity bowl. But I said “red” as soon as it happened, so maybe the ref had the same instinct. It's blatant red card as they come. No it's not. From Dean's perspective, Lascelles *could* have prevented a clear shot on goal. Very likely *wouldn't* have, but the doubt would have been there if Dean wasn't such a card happy arsehole.
