Superb ball that from Hoolahan (Sp?)
-
Frustrating the crap out of me, particularly with Demba and Cisse up front just asking for some good balls to be put in
-
Norwich are capable of some good crosses, pity we haven't got a single player in a position on the field in which they can do it -_-
-
Liverpool have some great youngsters coming through.
-
Good team around him as well

How's that? People wanted a back up striker and Shola was our best player tonight along with Bigi signed this transfer window. We kept a clean sheet with a backup defence pretty much. Ameobi simply can't score. We knew that years ago. He's not good enough to start games in any competition we play in. He was unlucky tonight, and he had no service at all. His positioning on crosses is rubbish (apart from coming in from the back post)

It is kind of seeing the huge shift of opinion after two isolated games on the same page

Elliot 8.5 Great performance by the Dilsh Perch 7 Not a right back for me. Didn't get forward much if at all Willo 6.5 Average, nearly cost us a goal once or twice Saylor 7 Santon 7.5 Pick of the defenders for me Obertan 6.5 Sure, final delivery mediocre but continually got past his man to deliver a ball into the box. Don't think our attacking players ever really got into good positions Bigi 8 Great game, particularly in the first half Gosling 7 Not too bad tonight, certainly seems to do quite a bit of running Amalfitano 5.5 poor for me Vuckic 6.5 Some good touches, including the one to Gosling for his chance. Just sooo frustrating to see him come off the pitch injured again Shola 7 Decent hold up play but should have finished at least one of his chances. Doesn't take very good positions on crosses and was out of the game after 65 minutes Sammy 6 Seems to have a similar "footballer IQ" to Obertan

Poor game from Amalfitano for me. Think we need a left footer on the left with the Ameobros up front
-
Is Fergie on the bench? Would like to see him come on and replace Perch (with Santon going on the right)

is this what you hope for or what you expect? it will not happen imo It is what I would like to see happen, pretty similar to what we saw in the second half on Monday. I feel this will be a high scoring 3-2 win for us -

I watched the Shaktar - FC Nordsjaelland game. Jonas Okore, who we have been linked with in the past, was great at CB.

Watched the Montpellier V Arsenal game. Arsenal were lucky to come away with 3 points. Montpellier just had too many young players that couldn't keep their nerve in an unfamiliar environment. They obviously have failed to replace Giroud as well, camara was/is poor.

Aussiemag will be calling Inman the next Kaka at this rate

Stole a point, but we missed a few opportunities today Harper 6 Perch 7 I know i've said this before but he looks far better as a central player (either in midfield or Defence) Williamson 5.5 Saylor 5.5 Santon 7 Marv 5 Cabaye 6 Anita 7 Jonas 6 HBA 6.5 Cisse 5 Ba 8.5 Ameobi 7.5

Certainly not of that ilk We have some young players at the fringe of mid table teams in good leagues (Nikita Rukavystka from Mainz, Chris Herd from Villa, James Troisi at Atalanta and Robbie Kruse at Fortuna Dusseldorf) And some that are first teamers in second tier leagues like (Mcgowan at Hearts, Zullo, Sarota and Oar at Utrecht and Davidson at Heracles) For whatever reason are sticking with the old guard when they just aren't the best players to be putting on the pitch anymore We will qualify, just way behind Japan and Korea in terms of quality at this stage.

Probably a good time for him to move, he's publicly recognised as playing his best football at the moment and would definitely get a move to a CL club. Has put in a fair shift as well, not like he is asking for a transfer after 2 seasons

I've always thought Betis were our Spanish equivalent

Rookie, you chat up lasses from abroad for a place to stay, not for a ticket
