Holy fook no, he is brutal in the extreme! I'm from Northern Ireland and watch this man play live each home game for our wee country and he is the most frustraiting player in the team! Very on paced, cant tackle or beat a man, and his crossing is only good from dead balls, in normal play he struggles to beat the first man!

Would have thought so like meself, but then again if Valencia go down, you never know! Plus every bloody thing seems to be rosey and good for those cockney twats so t'wouldnt surprise me if they got him on the cheap! What about gomis though?
-
Anybody seen any more of this guy? On paper seems to tick a fair few boxes, strong, fast, scores goals, young, any info? If indeed we are to pay 14 mil for him I'd be expecting good things, if Villa is to move for 16 mil this summer!

#salivating# This is what i'm talking aboot, dream singings and plenty of them! In Keegan We Trust!
-
Yeah, he played for rangers for 1 season, won us the league with the coolest of cool penalties, then claimed homesickness, went back to Real Sociedad, played well for a year, then Everton snapped him up! Best mates with Xabi Alonso so his mate may have put the noises out on him! At the same time Moyes has a fantastic record of picking players out from nowhere/taking a chance : Arteta, Cahill, Johnson, Jagielka, Lescott, Pienaar! At present I honestly believe only 3 players could move to a top premiership club and be a success, Cuellar, McGregor (gers keeper) and Boruc ( hate the tw*t but he is a damn good keeper!)
-
& the Celtic love in continues! Absolute joke that this has happened, Ceullar has been head and shoulders above anyone in the division this season, highlighted by his performances in Europe and Old Firm matches, whereas McGeady has gone missing in most of the high profile games! Really, really hope the Keane wins the 'race' to sign him, 10 - 12 mil could be spent SO much better, Diego wouldnt cost much more FFS! Just to make a comparison for anyone who doesnt follow scottish football, that 'world star' Shaun Maloney won the same double awards in 2006, that really is the comparison for you to make, McGeady is no better! Stay well clear King Kev! (rant over!)
-
Hows about neither and we just sign Diego!
-
Very not available I would imagine! Played on sunday plus shone for them in Rome last week, a dream ticket signing buit a no-go I would imagine!
-
Santa Cruz would be a great siging but we're looking for realistic sigings here! Blackburn simply wouldnt do busines with him and it would take silly money to even tempt them! Whereas Crouch is looking unsettled and IMO would jump at a chance to sign for a big club where he could play every week, star and push on with his england career! (can only imagine Crocuh and Owen playing well togehter at club level would help their cause at international!) Crouch has 14 in 26 for England and seems to score a fair few goasl at Liverpool WHEN he plays! His approach play is extrmely under-rated, it is expected due to his height that he should be winning headers and flick ons, yet he actually is really good at taking the ball down and laying it off, the key trait of 'the big man' in a front three formation! He is one I'd love to see here, honestly believe Martins and Owen would thrive off him, but yet theres something in my head, and dont know why, that has me excited about this Gomis character!

Great talent. Remember that he posed one of few threats when he appeared against us as a 17(?)-teen year old for Sochaux when we won 4-0 in the Uefa Cup. Holy fook he looks awesome! never seen him play live but I actually got butterflies watchin the youtube, just looks a dream signing, just how realistic is he? wiki has figures of 10 - 15 euros, seems affordable!
-
great shout there with Cahill, if bolton go down then we really should be in for him, been outstanding as an individual since going to them! Dunne would also be a good signing, not a trophy signing but a solid one with great experience and still a good few years in him! These two in, Tayls as backup and Faye as backup def mid, as i would love a ball-playing def mid ( Diaby top of my list!)
-
Would hope we're having a look at this guy from france who could be the new drogba, certainly got the build and seems to be doing well for a small team, all seems good for him at the mo! I think dean ashton would be a great singing but only at the right price, none of this over priced english crap, 7 - 8 mil tops! If west ham are looking over the odds then I'd be going for Crouch, who surely will be available in the summer! Could really see him fitting into to our new style of play, replacing Viduka. One of Crouchs best skills is holding the ball up and bringing others into play. Bentley is and obvious wishlister, and for a defencive midfielder (a must purchase IMO) i would love to see us try for Diaby from Arsenal. Surely must be sick of not getting a goos run in the first team yet looks class every time I see him, but if Flamini were to go it might be difficult. As for the Zarate link, I would like to think 10 mil could get us a more proven player, surely Diego could be got for in and around that? Even this |Arshavin, got great reports on him!
-
Agree totally mate, I actually thought he was worse than Barton. Thank gawd, some common sense prevails! Both were absolutely BRUTAL! If a man cannot even take a decent corner, yuo know his confidence is down and its time to get him off! 2 embarressing performances last night by both these two wasters, so much so I'd rather see smith in there on saturday! ps: shout out to nicky Butt, poor footballing ability last night but he at lost showd the grit and determination to win challenges and break down play, unlike other two in the middle!
-
Bricking it to say the least! This really should be KK's sorta match however, man for man brum are behind us in quality, hence it should just be about KK giving a motivational speach to kill all others, every single player tonight should be prepared to die for the cause!
-
McGeady and Brown have both been linked so we'll put them in as two. If Cousin at Rangers keeps playing the way he has been I could see him being an option, and I definetly think we'll move for Ceullar from the gers too, prob gonna SPL Player of the Year. Fletcher of Hibs another pos, dont fancy McCormick meself, Chris Burke is a quality right winger at the gers too! (need to stop naming gers players, theyre my other team!)

Isn't it about time we had an argument about THE BOARD?!?!?!?!?!
wrightstuff83 replied to magorific's topic in Football
Are there only 13 players in the world? I reckon there might just be a midfielder out there better than the s**** we've got. Well who are you saying we should have signed, realistically? I'm not paid by the club to find players. The manager and his scouts should have found someone. I never said you were did i, but i'm asking who would you have liked to see in then? Without coming out with some totally unrealistic player. Barnes, Arshavin, Benjani, Defoe, I never thought Bentley was unrealistic either! -

Totally depressing that the highlight of our transfer dealings is a teenager from Italy! Don't give me the time excuse, as previously stated in the thread, there has to be a creative midfielder out there who would have came to us! IMO if we have identified Barnes as being a good player (I dont no, havent seen enough of him!) then we should be upping our bid and getting him in, end of story! I really am unhappy now, kept being patient and waiting for a spark, what we got was a few kids and Dennis fooking Wise! -
Willie McKay making mischief on SSN. Spurs deny interest in Zog.
wrightstuff83 replied to Skirge's topic in Football
Never want to see The Zog leave but if he is looking out and spuds are prepared to work a deal, I would realistically be looking for Marlbranque and Boateng plus money! Would rather he stayed mind! -
A right winger with pace, at a really cheap price propbably not on the biggest wage ever, why the fook we not making these sorts of signings?!
-
Alvaro - fraudulent bid by third party, Newcastle never interested.

Depressed! -
Be a man! Rozehnal: in or out? In. Good backup. Not everyone can be an outstanding first teamer. I'll make it easy for you. Cacapa: in or out? Out, out and a million times out! This guy is a donkey and every time I've seen us this season he has cost us at least a goal!
-
from watching him, would you say beye is better than hutton? Tough decision but I'd probably go with Hutts. He is still young and learning his trade whereas Beye is on top of his game, IMO Hutts has the potential to really go on and be tip-top, but its a couple a years away yet! Really, really want him to make it though, top blue nose who loves the club! I honestly think Beye would make an excellent centre half if moved in there, solid, reads the game, decent pace and would allow for a more attacking full back like Chimbonda (good player/questionable attitude!) to fill in there!
-
Hutton is a good, but not brilliant attacking full back. As a rangers fan I have watched him come from being a laughing stock to a 'superstsr' in no less than a year! Really is umbelievable how the media can hype a player! Disgusted with Rangers for taking the deal now, David Murray at his work again, saying the bid was too good to turn down, then giving Walter about 2mil of it! The man is a twat of the highest order and is only in it for his own gain! I really hope Hutts turns out to be a cracking premiership fb and think he may well under the guidance of an increasingly impressive Ramos. Rangers selling Hutts and the toon siging noone, its all getting a bit depressing for me! :-[

Is it just me over here in Northern Ireland or does it really look like we're not even in for anybody?
-
Disgusted if he moves anywhere but us!
