  1. Eddie has millions of credit in the bank but we should be able to call out mistakes when they are as glaringly obvious as yesterday. The subs speak for themselves, absolutely baffling, but for me the general tactics of the day are what has really annoyed me. First half we really weren’t as good as people (including Eddie) are making out. We were slow from the outset and only really Gordon instilled some pace and tempo. then after Trent should’ve walked, the obvious tactic should’ve been to get ball to Gordon every time to expose Trent either non tackling or fouling and walking but again, we really didn’t do that with any urgency at all. second half right from ko it was clear the tactics were to play slow passes across our back line, why? Yes, few chances that could’ve made it 2 and game over but we really never felt like we were “on it” and for me, that’s 2 insipid games playing with a level of fear against top sides. surely by now we are in a place to have a go, especially at home!
  2. My usual name of Rob lees knee needs updated due to my now undying love for the man mountain that is joelinton! Any advice on a decent team name around his name….?
  3. Aye that’s what I meant, perhaps worded it wrong but just meant I nostalgically love it! The sponsor thing is fair point aye👍🏻
  4. Liverpool doing it right wearing their new kit on last home game, where is our leaks even?!
  5. I love him more and more every week, and we’ve been saying that for a year now! Class, has it all, does it all and loves the club, fan base and city. Trips, rightly so, is the face of the new Newcastle but for me this guy represents it all! I’ll finish how I started, I love him!

    João Pedro

Really don’t get why we wouldn’t go get him. With wood and long staff starting Sunday it really highlights the lack of depth in the squad
  7. DHGate home top arrived and have to say it’s pretty much bang on. Can’t find a fault, fits well (a neat medium) and am happy enough to have the patch badge rather than embroidery. Not sure what one to order next, the away ones look like a very strange, shiny material from any review pics I’ve found while the third I’ve already got a poor copy so keen to get a better one would love it with the map etc.
  8. Crazy how good he has become, the ultimate box to box beast! Once again was everywhere today, Love him so fookin much!
  9. Aye seen them on there I’m sorry I meant haven’t seen any of the ones from DHgate in a pic to confirm quality
  10. Anyone done the training tops from DHgate? Tempted but haven’t seen one as yet!
  11. Got a white DHGATE special today, really poor, no map design, no noom patch, no quality. Plus medium was way too big, already had it through wash and tumble to shrink a bit! (It did but will just be a top for running now) as previously asked, anyone any experience of a seller on their who is our go to? Plus is it worth getting the player version? cheers
  12. I'd happily take a couple of Mayo chickens mind!
  13. Afraid not. Only had the presentation from our head of refereeing (IFA) last week, a scissor challenge on the standing leg is 100% a red card now, ball or no ball. Research has shown that this kind of tackle causes the most injuries in football, or so they say, and its outlawed now (well supposed to be)
  14. Either of those arsenal kits with stripes and we are golden! Any word at all on ours over there? Leaving it until Rafa is confirmed staying for them sales?!
  15. First class statement. Still a shocking gaffer, and don't buy all this great coach bs, if it was the case we wouldve shown some sort of development, shape, style etc. practised on the training ground during these high quality sessions, we simply did not! Nice bloke not very good at his profession, thankfully as his inabilities have brought us Rafa!
  16. Fair enough, no such thing as a guarantee with this club, however I feel total faith in his ability to keep us up if he came in, and also improve us to a very good level again, stand out candidate for me but know this is all a pipe dream and the club are not for one second even sounding him out!
  17. Rafa is the stand out candidate, would definetly keep us up and be a success in the future, Rodgers again I feel would be a perfect fit for us long term but have my doubts he would keep us up, moyes I feel would 100% keep us up imo but really doesn't excite me long term, so I'm thinking will be moyes! With those 3 all available, shame on this club if they don't get rid of this fraud of a football "coach", suited more to serving tablets from a spoon to old people in a nursing home.
  18. At half time today of manc derby there will be an advert about a young player from my home town of portadown and how one of my best mates used Google translate to coach him (he's originally from madrid). Unreal video produced by Google getting super worldwide coverage (it's already been on NBC USA) It's a brilliant watch and unreal promotion for not just our town but northern Ireland, tune in!
  19. red letters and numbers on back would look first class
  20. Just left my work conference where QPR'S community trust CEO was guest speaker. Took chance to ask him after if Austin will end up with us, he said there has been no bids at all for him, only contact from all the club's mentioned. Also said he isn't really that good but keeps proving people wrong, slow, poor touch and link up play but keeps scoring!
  21. I'm getting married new years eve, this COULD BE the greatest wedding gift ever! Is it too soon to start re - writing the speech?!
  22. Reading this thread has made me so happy I've had to post how happy I am, and could be!
