Just got back from the game, had to sit with the Gooners unfortunately who were pretty obnoxious but was still an enjoyable game. First half performance was great - Duff in particular looked good but then the wheels just fell off in the second half. Something to build upon at least.

To be fair, the team that Arsenal had out at the end of the game wasn't at all far off their best. Only Clichy, Rosicky, Flamini and Toure missing I think.

The reaction from Lee deserved a follow up boot in the jaw. Little fuking baby. Arsenal are no better, if anything it serves them right.

Absolutely no consistency in refereeing these days. Adebayor smacks Lee in the face and gets away with nothing whereas Arteta was given a straight red for the same offence. Disgrace.

Tainio looks decent - reckon he could be a good shout for a new defensive midfielder?

Wenger won't play his kids in their entirety next Sat, was a half and half team against Burnley and I'd like to believe we're better than that. Plus this is the FA Cup which is a tad more prestigious than the Carling. Even if it is at home, I don't think he'll be taking any risks.

He fits the bill perfectly - solid dm with class distribution, can hold while zog bombs forward as well as unlock defences. Would be a terrific signing imo.

He's more like Beckham than Gerrard imo with a bit more pace. Would still be a good but pricey signing though.

He can't really play anyone else. Beye and Martins are at the African Nations' and Viduka's injured. As for Owen you can't blame him for alot, he's barely had a kick.
