It's not this result in particular that worries me, it's that Reading won and things are getting even closer at the bottom. Am honestly praying that Everton and Arsenal both win tomorrow.
-
Should start against Brum, no questions asked.
-
Mmm Sunderland have a tough one tomorrow though against Everton.
-
Just watching Barnsley at the moment is killing me a bit inside. Giving Chelsea a real go at the moment.

Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*

Am confident that Sunderland and Wigan won't win tomorrow at least. -
Was in two minds about KK's appointment but will support him regardless and we will NOT get relegated. How this is all Keegan's fault I don't know - if Allardyce beat Derby the two times and at least drew against Reading and Wigan away we'd be above Spurs and pissing onto the relegation zone.
-
So depressing supporting Newcastle at the moment. Surely something has to give.
-
Since Martins has come on he's has 2 shots on goal in quick succession. Next match, take the fucking hint Kevin.
-
What seems to be forgotten is that we played well last week and so Keegan was always unlikely to make any radical line-up changes. Martins will defo come on at some point though I hope.
-
3-2 to the Toon - Liverpool to go 2-0 up and us to fight back hard. Owen will score twice and Martins to seal the win off the bench. You heard it here first
-
The first team plays in the yellow bibs doesn't it? If so it looks like Martins and Geremi might not be playing

Granted we've got a tough game at Liverpool next week but the teams around us all have tricky fixtures coming up as well so fingers crossed the table won't change drastically. -
Walter Smith has done okay. Hitzfeld done okay. Capello went back to Madrid & won the title. I am sure I could think of more if I could be bothered. Redknapp's doing ok at Pompey as well, not in the same vein as the names mentioned above by a long stretch though.

About 5 ft 5, short hair, thin. Alright, how did Martins PLAY when we came on?
-
How did Martins look btw when he came on?
-
Christ almighty. This is his FIRST possible appearance under Keegan and he's returning from injury - can you honestly blame KK for benching him?

By the signs shown today and hopefully with Martins fucking STARTING from now on, we'll be fine - we'll beat Reading, Fulham and the Mackems at home, pushing us up to 37 points and are sure to pick up a few more points here and there. Today is NOT the be all and end all. -
What a fucking sucker punch, fucking gutted at the moment but if we play like that every week with Martins on hand to fucking score sometime then we WILL stay up. How did Oba play today btw? Make much of a difference?
-
We WILL win this, still sure of it. Howay the lads!
-
Come on Toon, 3-1
-
Am hoping (probably too much) our team for next season will look something like this; Given Beye Faye Van Buyten Enrique/Shorey Bentley/Milner Appiah Carrick N'Zogbia/McGeady Owen Martins
-
Not a bad player but another striker is simply not what we need at the mo.
