  1. Made hard work of it in the end but very proud of Rafa and the players on the whole. A quite incredible turnaround in such a short space of time. Worth remembering that this is a very young squad on the whole - average age of 24.7 on the pitch tonight if you exclude old Blobby. Yedlin in for Anita would bring that down even further. Hell of an achievement by Rafa to turn an unfamiliar, relatively inexperienced squad into title contenders. Made up Jamaal looked like he was welling up there and all!
  2. Nah. Angle was against, weaker foot. Would back the keeper there tbh.
  3. They had a decent spell of possession for a few minutes like. They're not a bad side.
  4. Lascelles fortunate to keep his place but happy with that otherwise.
  5. Some poor performances - particularly recently - and mistakes have marred what's otherwise been a very solid campaign; quite similar to Darlow in that respect. On the whole, I think he's been pretty good, with excellent performances against Brighton, Huddersfield away and Wolves away springing to mind instantly. Jury's out on his role at the club next season if we go up though.
  6. It's just pointless and unnecessary controversy ahead of what could be a potential promotion decider. Accept that he may have reffed our games before without incident but why can't the EFL just put someone in charge with no affiliation to either side for the removal of any doubt?
  7. Andrew Madley, Bobby's brother (and also from Huddersfield), is down as the ref for this. Out of all the referees available in the EFL, can they not just give us one that is completely impartial FFS? It was farcical against Brighton and it's probably even more so now given that the stakes are that much higher.
