Decent test for the back four today looking at that Bolton lineup.
-
And probably Gosling. Aye forgot about him. EastEndGeordie is probably right, we'd likely change our shape if we picked up any injuries in the midfield today.
-
Of course it doesn't. It will look a lot healthier when Guthrie, Ireland and Ben Arfa are all fit.
-
Bloody hell we're screwed if any of our Midfielders get injured. I think Perch and Raylor are considered the 'midfielders' of that bench.
-
Both Taylors on the bench.
-
Well taken, game over.
-
Clear pen.
-
Sinclair is a better version of Routledge.
-
Remember watching him at Bradford City occasionally as a bairn. Far too early for someone to go. RIP

Leeds playing like utter shit.
-
Probaby Guthrie next to Tiote, Barton wide Don't think Guthrie is fit. Sure Pardew said he'd miss out.
-
Reckon we'll play Nolan in behind if Lovenkrands is out. Harper Simpson Willi Colo Enrique Raylor Barton Tiote Jonas Nolan Best Not sure if Raylor is fit like.

Always great to be in town the day of a European match, always loads of away fans about really early walking around, jumping and singing. Same with Sparta today, they were everywhere

Live Games Up To 1st May - Man U (h) and Chelsea (a) now on Sky
QBG replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
To be honest it would be wrong not to televise Tiote's decimation of Carroll. -
Probably a Sky game then?
-
Been thinking this for a while too. Was going to wait until the end of the season and get a cheap Carroll one. Until "the incident" that is. Going to get someone on the back next time I go up to Newcastle. Was going to get Jose but see that as too much of a risk. Probably going to be Coloccini now as I'm nervous about getting Tiote or Barton as well. At least with Colo we know no one is going to match his mental wage packet.
-
Quite like this year's kit. Only bought it recently, felt I had to have the shirt from this absolutely mental season. Its a better design than previous years. Quality is ok, nothing special. Probably one that I'll still be wearing years from now, as I will with the Yellow away kit, which I agree needs to be brought back.

First game: Leeds away 96/97 - In the Leeds end with my Mam and Dad, Newcastle shirt hid under my coat. Shearer smashed one in, Mam jumped up forgetting she was in the opponents end I think a few other people jumped up as well anyway. A rare 1-0 win under Keegan. First home game: Leeds (again) 97/98 - Drew 1-1 Gunnar Halle scored for them I think and Ketsbaia equalised. With Mam and Dad again, sat in the Leazes I think.

Nolan's from around there and it's not too far from Woolton where quite a few players live. Aye I've since been corrected on this. Thought most of them lived on the Wirral but apparently a few of them live in that area.
-
Aye he was there, its in the Liverpool Echo over here. My tutor at Uni saw him near where he lives in Allerton a few hours after tucking into a Domino's. Really random that, not typically where any of the Liverpool or Everton players live.

can't see how that makes them favourites. very close to call though. edit, in fact the bookies have us as favourites by a wider margin than i'd have thought. Not too surprising when you look at our home record. The defeats we have had at home have been daft ones Stoke, Blackpool, Blackburn and Man City (daft in the sense of the 2 early goals) but City are the only team from the top six to come to SJP and win, granted we haven't played Man U yet. Teams still see SJP as a massive challenge and I think any bookie has to take in the crowd element, especially after the Arsenal game. Really looking forward to our next two games against two decent sides. Hopefully after them we'll be over the 40 point mark.

GTFI Very good keeper and then he goes and does that. Legend.
