He only came in because we didn't want to rely on Carroll and Ranger all season. After watching Carroll's pointless header's into empty space yesterday I'm not confident he's going to produce much either, other than nuisance value. They're both as bad as each other. Carroll's flick-ons were mostly poor all game long, but the odd good one he did manage to do, Harewood was making the wrong run or coming back from an offside position.

Hope Wigan beat the City cunts today, and not just because it'll earn me a tidy £16.

Lovenkrands looks to me that he really doesn't give a shit - being played either upfront or on the wing. He actually looked better (both on the wing and upfront) last season in a far better standard of league. Maybe it's complacency?

What's the odds that Moat won't be able to meet £80m up front by next week, but Ashley still doesn't give Hughton the full time job and we're left limping along for another few months?

Lovenkrands is a fucking useless winger, there was an instance first half when Carroll won a great flick-on and he had half the pitch to run into and a few yards on his marker, what does he do? Takes a touch and then tries to pick out Harewood who isn't even goalside, and hits a rotten ball out for a Notts Forest throw.

I remember he gave the ball away twice early doors, headed that chance into the stands when he should have centered, and had the goal ruled out. That's it in 90 minutes, why on earth wouldn't you question him?
