  1. You need Radio Newcastle on MW - 1058, I think. Aye, or DAB. Got it now, cheers lads.
  2. wtf is this shit on BBC radio newcastle, it's build-up to the Sunderland game
  3. http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/42400000/jpg/_42400409_watfordrain203.jpg wish it was bigger, but love this
  4. No doubt GG will come back inebriated after his do in the Queen Vic earlier on and tell us how good Wutfad were
  5. Having seen your previous posts in this thread I really now wish I hadn't bothered with Millwall. We'll see though.
  6. I think I'll actually shoot myself if the other four come off and it's that one that lets me down.
  7. Millwall won 4-0 last week, I just think that if Leeds are going to come unstuck (and they will eventually) it probably will be tomorrow.
  8. Millwall are 2/1, which is good odds for a home team. It's one of those games where the form book kinda goes out the window.
  9. HUDDERSFIELD vs Leyton Orient ROCHDALE vs Accrington Stanley Brighton & Hove Albion vs OLDHAM Swansea vs BLACKPOOL £1 wins £26.76 MILLWALL vs Leeds NORWICH CITY vs Swindon Town BARNET vs Darlington BRADFORD CITY vs Hereford United Colchester vs WALSALL £1 wins £79.12

    RIP sale thread.

Aren't you meant to be annoying Homer, or something?
  11. It's a lovely ground when you consider how it's suddenly just there in the middle of this leafy part of London. Garage doors on one side of the street, turnstiles on the other.
  12. Had a lovely day out there last season at their game vs Villa. Fans were quiet as fuck but the ones sitting round us were dead canny and it was a cracking game on a beautifully sunny day. Stewarding nice and laid-back too, let both sets of fans mingle at the beer tent. You couldn't find trouble at Craven Cottage if you went looking for it, lovely little ground.
  13. That was awesome, I love Fulham. Great save Schwarzer, great reffing by the officials (not).
  14. John Anderson on LuaLua: "ARGH...YAV GOTTA PASS DE BALL DERE!"
  15. Didn't exactly have much help like. Him and Forlan were as anonymous as each other because Atlético's midfield (and defence, of course) were woeful. Aguero has shown enough in La Liga over the past few years (and last year's Champions League) to show that in a better team he'd be pretty prolific. Although Forlan had very little to work with in terms of actual service, he was still on the ball a lot of times and helped build a fair amount of attacking movements (which all seemed to break down on the flanks). I can remember Aguero touching the ball about three times in the final hour of the game. Good players, really good players, ones that are considered 'world class' tend to be able to at least be involved in a game where it's going against the team. He looked no different to any of the other poor players they had out there today, that moment of sheer brilliance that the likes of Drogba, Torres, Ibrahimovic, Villa etc can provide in a game going against them never looked like arriving from Aguero, because he wasn't near the ball. I do think he's a good player fwiw, just definately second (or probably higher third) bracket in terms of the strikers there are out there. Yet all of the players that you have mentioned above are far more developed footballing wise than Aguero. Although I know you're going over the top to wind up Nixon. I'm not going over the top, he mentioned nothing about development or potential - I was having a discussion with Ronaldo and a few others about who was the best striker in the world, the general concensus was Torres or Drogba, Nixon then quoted my post and said "Either him or Aguero". We were talking about the best striker in the world right now, which Aguero certainly is not.

    Can't handle this

    Spot on. Very good post.

I thought he had more impact on that game than Forlan did tbh, created two good chances for Maxi and had a couple of his own. Forlan hardly had a kick. I suppose it's all relative, but Forlan did have a hand in most of the more fluid movements they produced (at least I thought so, anyway). In all fairness, tonight wasn't really a night where it's particularly easy for us to evaluate either of the two forwards considering they were feeding off scraps. I still didn't really see that much of Aguero on the ball though. Totally unrelated, but why wasn't Maxi Rodriguez starting? Has he just come back from injury or something like that?

  19. I look forward to seeing the highlights of the other games later on. Another total non-performance from Aguero, by the way.

    If you could pick...

I must admit, I'd love to see a Jay Jay Sea press conference.
