Has anyone actually thought that there just isn't a place for him on the bench rather than jumping to the conclusion that he's done something wrong? Although I'd rather have him on the bench over Best, Hughton isn't going to drop his own signing from the squad.

Barca are a juicy 9/5 against Real with Stan James.

Robbie Earle: "It's either a muscle injury or a confidence injury." What the fuck is one of those?

Just logged on to my Paddy Power account to find a free £2 bet to use on the games part of their website. Had two spins on Monopoly and ended up withdrawing £20. Thanks Paddy.

I have the same feeling. Hope to God they're all still here come September 1st.

If anyone wants to buy me a pint , you're more than welcome. He hasn't won anything yet man! No doubt it'll go to Nolan.

The smug twat was walking around London Road on Saturday like he owned the place. Was hoping somebody would lamp the utter prick.

What he say? "I can't understand why Chris Hughton is getting so much praise, I'm the one who picks the team!"

I said that at the time, we gave that experience to a Chelsea player who was younger than Kadar and we've done the same more recently with Hall who will probably be going back to QPR at the end of the season. Not forgetting that Hall is pretty useless too. Hall has been fine when he's played. Baffling comment. He's been average, just like the rest of his career. The game that stands out for me is against Bristol City, when he barely won a thing in the air mainly due to him not getting off the ground for some strange reason. Kadar won more in the air than he did when he came on. Bringing in average defenders like Hall and Khizanishvili was a decent move by Hughton but they should only have been backup and not been chosen ahead of our own talent, halting their progression in the process.

Manchester United for a start. Really? Well they don't play 4-4-2 for a start (but i did say "any formation tbh"). How many times have Nani and Valencia started together because Park isn't an out and out winger and starts a lot of games. I think you'd be surprised how many times both Valencia and Nani have started together.

Collison and Noble would be the two first on my list if West Ham go down. Although not spectacular, Noble is a very tidy footballer whereas Collison offers a little more going forward. Diamanti would also be a good addition as well as Behrami. I'd also be looking to try and nab Stanislas to back Jonas up.

I'd like to see us go in for a few Spurs players. I know Jamie O'Hara has already been mentioned but I'd also like to see us make a move for David Bentley, Alan Hutton, and Adel Taarabt too. Don't think any of them are particularly that unrealistic either.

Sit down Phil Thompson.

Kadar did well again tonight. Made a few little errors but recovered well from them. It definitely helped him by playing alongside the magnificent Coloccini who was absolutely brilliant tonight, MOTM by a country mile.

I said a while back that I wanted us to sign him on loan. Looks a really decent prospect and would more than likely have done a better job than Danny Simpson.
-
More on the pitch when the goal went in tonight. Reckon it's looking more and more likely there'll be an invasion if we go up, especially if it's away from home.
-
He still was behind another goal even on a poor game on what looked a bad pitch. I'm not calling him shite or anything, just think that people need to be careful not to big him up too much as seems to be happening at the minute. It wasn't exactly a hard ball for him to make either, was it? He's done a decent job since he joined the club as he's added a lot more balance to the side but he hasn't really stood out that much for me, not as much as some people have made out anyway. For the praise he's getting I'd like to see him produce more than he has and on a consistent basis.
-
He was fairly poor tonight. Gave the ball away a lot and struggled to create much. Nice ball through for the goal which was his only real contribution of the game. What has surprised me about him is that he isn't as quick as he was made out to be when we signed him. Not sure if he's carrying a knock or not but he looks a little sluggish.

Talent/potential - Taylor to go. Nutter - Carroll to go. Carroll could be a better striker than Taylor will be defender. Can't see it myself.
