  1. Delap would have been canny but he's not one to get upset over. If anything, Chelsea settling for him over Gyokeres/Ekitike/Osimhen could be good news for us.
  2. Be great to see Fernandes leave. Firstly, so we don't have to see his face anymore. Secondly, despite the money, I think Man Utd will struggle to replace him.... he's been their best player for years.
  3. In each of the three play-off matches, they played both Bellingham and Le Fee while looking absolutely awful. Now they'll have only one of them, without really making money.
  4. If he's the one to go, so be it. Wouldn't be massively upset.
  5. An emotional day, for sure. Jubilation, anger, disbelief, confusion, ecstasy. But we did it.
  6. Those easy online walkovers v Arsenal and Everton made it fairly comfortable in the end. Great to see
  7. Managed to leave the room in time. But these are truly awful and honestly the luckiest team I've ever seen. Absolutely hideously bad. For Sheff Utd to throw it away like that was fucking insane.
  8. Such a lush opener, but glad that HT whistle came. Hopefully Wilder can get them back to how they were at the start. Kieffer Moore to cause carnage.
  9. Sheff Utd don't start Brereton? I'd have guessed he'd be one of the league's best, despite being a prick
  10. If that's most of their load, fine.
  11. The thought of them lot having joy, or smiling, or singing songs. Being more visible on TV, hearing their name more often. Having to write about them. Nah, no thanks. Not a chance.
  12. Palace and now this horrific Spurs. Suddenly winning trophies feels less special, less of an achievement Was a fun two months, though.
  13. Red card, though even a Bournemouth draw wouldn't particularly suit us. We'd still likely need a win. But a 3-2 comeback?
  14. Although Liverpool are quickly adding good players, they're losing Trent Alexander-Arnold for free. So it's going both ways.
  15. The only thing that makes me slightly confident is Branthwaite joining Tarkowski on the sidelines. Let's say an awkward 2-1 minger.
  16. Using realism rather than reading around here, a defeat was expected. But the manner of it (early shots, Gordon error) hurts, as does every other AVL/CHE score once again going badly. I dunno, I'm feeling 60/40 that we'll make it. But I don't even think we're one of the country's best five teams tbh.
  17. Every other team is a vile piece of shit, like. No favours from anyone, yet again.
  18. All that confidence was already insane And now there's no Isak
  19. Man City twats. Letting Palace win the cup just after we won one.
  20. If Man Utd can play a similar line-up at home to Villa next Sunday, maybe there's a glimmer of hope when it comes to dropped points. The final already played, go out on a high etc. But I hate myself for even typing that out.
  21. I was telling myself beforehand that even the worst set of results will have us 4th going into the final day (I suppose GD swings could make it 5th....) But seeing both matches unfold like this, goalless at half time, really hurts.
  22. As a frequent flier from Newcastle to Bologna (still not directly, grrrr), this has been a lovely couple of months
  23. Thanks for the heads up, turned the telly off just in time. Lucky mother(kid)fuckers.
