Pickford is English, young, a good shot-stopper and has really good distribution. Is he a £20m+ player? Probably not, but that's what they'll get for him.

As well as Brighton and Reading/Huddersfield, I can definitely see Watford, Burnley and maybe even Bournemouth having a tough time next season. And we'll be hovering around that area.

Struggling to name one major thing Watford have done all season, they've made no impact. So I suppose Mazzarri did an ok job. I still think they're strong candidates for relegation next season.

Mentioned this in another thread but I can easily see us fetch £25m for Mitrovic, Hanley, Lazaar, Krul, Sels and Saivet. But this is wonderful news, although I never really thought he'd go this time. I still pinch myself every day that, after all our suffering over the years, Rafa Benitez has somehow ended up as Newcastle United manager. It's just outstanding.

Rightly or wrongly, they'll get a lot for Pickford. The way prices have escalated over the past 2 years is insane - £30m for Sissoko. And Guardiola spent £15m on a then-33 Claudio Bravo. He'd easily go past £20m for a young English replacement.
