He'd be way more than £15m. And fierce competition for such a class player.
-
7-point gap. The game in hand is Boro, with Swansea at home right after. Suddenly it's down to one point.
-
2 more years, jesus christ

Most Premier League teams have set a new transfer record in the past 2 or 3 years. Ours is still £16m on Owen, 2005. If we go up, we're exceeding that AT LEAST once.
-
Fitting that they're heading for a Prexit
-
Wenger is determined to throw away his legacy, like. This is likely the year they miss out on top 4 too. Can't believe he's not only still there but has the audacity to stay another year. Even as a neutral I want him to go just so the Arsenal fans can stop their civil war.

Maybe they can sign Julio Arca from South Shields and do this properly
-
On 82 with Aguero and Mane to go. Good tally heading into a wildcard, hoping Sanchez's injury is bad and can free all that money.
-
Swansea lost to Hull and Bournemouth, so suddenly there's a team Sunderland can catch. Very generous games til the end too - I know they cant score but it's doable.
-
Burnley are alright, taking the lead at Liverpool last week, so part of me thinks they can grab something. But it'll clearly be 1-0 Defoe pen. Just have to hope Palace beat Watford and Swansea beat Bournemouth too.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

It's about bloody time Huddersfield lost like that - lots of narrow wins, late wins etc. If we win the next 3 we'll probably do it. -

In that case, Reading

Hiddink is interesting but Pearson makes a lot of sense. Would obviously love a Curtis Vickers or Clayton Blackmore appearance, though. And Pardew is fast becoming the new Alan Curbishley
-
Good news They defend well but have nothing else, so the prospect of a new manager bounce is all they have left.

Ahhh yes. England's 2nd most popular saint.

Last year was competitive in that it was close, but the points tally was low. I expect all 3 of us to top Burnley's 93 points. -
'Newcastle still see Mitrovic as a young player and one that they can develop further next season - by bringing in another striker to further reduce his game time I've always liked Mitro but if Rafa doesn't have faith in him, which he clearly doesn't, then we should probably cash-in.

If Bournemouth - a club whose manager I respect - don't want him and won't play him, why do you think he would be what NUFC want ? We should be aiming higher than players a club the size of Bournemouth(but a well-run outfit nevertheless)are going to reject. Tbf Eddie Howe is absolutely terrible at using players he's bought recently £26m went on Lewis Cook, Lys Mousset and Jordon eBay - that's just this season. Can get a Paypal refund on that last one though. Some quality Worldpay word play there

Always wanted to see Venezuela v Vanuatu. Could call it the V Festival.

Game-changer, although I really want Alli and going both might be too much. Hmm.

I put it in the betting thread, but Paddy Power has us 1/80 for promotion. Chelsea are 10pts bloody clear and they're only 1/10  Is it just pure laziness from neutrals? All they need to do is looking at the tight table, or watch our performances. Nah, surely we're right here. -
He's good with leads though.

Leffe, will it be Janssen or Son up front while Kane's out? Really hope it's the latter (6.8m midfielder)
