  1. A shame that we get close to Watford just as their fixtures turn great and ours fall apart. 7
  2. So nervous today, first time I've woke up and immediately thought of the match in ages. Fuck, fuck, fuck. Imagine if we don't win this?
  3. Dubravka Manquillo - Schar - Fernandez - Lewis Willock - Shelvey - Joelinton* Almiron Saint-Maximin Wilson * Joelinton up front obvs but he was class at defensive stuff last night Although I don't think Burnley will go down, I actually see them as more winnable than Brentford and Norwich. I think we're ok against that type of personnel.
  4. Howe, for sure. Be quite a coup to keep him in the Championship and I think this current squad would find a home down there. I bet Joelinton, Willock, Shelvey, Lewis, Longstaff etc are great at that level.

    Joelinton

He'll be a beast in the Championship.
  6. As someone who officially moved back to the North East from London on Monday night, I'm delighted to be out of there. For some, London is a place to live. For many, it's a place to visit before going back home..... I'm the latter.
  7. Feel like tonight's match was deja vu - a match which we absolutely had to win but end up saying optimistic things after we scrape a draw. We do look alright, we're capable of scoring, you can see an impact already under Howe. But we're drawing each time. At some point that needs to stop being seen as a 'brave performance' or 'cause for optimism'.
  8. They could've hired Premier League pedigree like Steve Bruce but no, they chose one of those unproven foreign types. Bet he hates ketchup too.
  9. 4 points are a must from Norwich + Burnley but I'm chilled with this relegation compared to the last two - we've got rid of Bruce, we've got rid of Ashley. In 5 years time we'll be in a better position than what it'd be like under those twats.
  10. Sounds like it's the rest of 2021 initially, then they'll assess how bad it is beyond that. Such a shame really, he's been in great form.
  11. Reminds me of watching Watford on Saturday. The commentator saying "Louza" definitely had a John Motson/Stefan Kuntz vibe to it
  12. 5 minutes on Twitter and I'm convinced there'll soon be some sort of charity match or candlelight vigil for Ole.
  13. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Hilarious from day one. No idea how it's taken so many days. But now he can return to being obscure and out-of-sight.
  14. Sean Lock, Paul Ritter and now Solskjaer.... we've lost so many comedic greats this year. 2021 is relentless.
  15. Selling Reece James 3/4 games ago won't stop backfiring. Got no Chelsea defence at all, although today redeemed itself via Toney, Pukki, Ronaldo and Alexander-Arnold.
  16. I feel very uncomfortable about my gut feeling we will win this. Only happens 2 or 3 times a year. Much prefer the pessimism.
  17. Love a bit of Mitro If we swap divisions with Fulham, they should be smart enough to sell him. Based off past experiences.
  18. In his final days, he mentioned wanting players to 'dust themselves down' so much I was convinced he had a contract with Mr Sheen. Could be his next career move tbh. He's certainly got the charisma for it. The prick.
  19. This might be a wise strategy. Means we can attract better players, without their apprehension of possibly playing in the Championship.
  20. He puts bums on seats, that's for sure.
  21. Be fuming if Steve Howey isn't made assistant.
  22. After the Emery debacle continues our public perception as being a comedy club, it'd be fantastic to start making serious appointments like Emenalo. The guy is a genius. Would love him here.
  23. Solskjaer last, easily. Ranieri, Lage, Frank just above. Guardiola and Tuchel the top two.
