  1. This could a special match Not many people have seen a live match go into double figures, especially at this level. I reckon this one might just miss out.
  2. Good potential for chants. I guess what I'm trying to say is.....there should be some great Luna Tunes. Thats all, folks.
  3. Remy meets Carr's recommendation, yet also has PL experience for Pardew. Ashley loves a good clause as well. Only problem is that Kinnear cant mess up his name. Deal off.
  4. I'm not against buying British-based experience and am fine with playing 2 up front, but it needs to be a fast or tall striker. Darren Bent is neither.
  5. Well I heard Ashley is planning to replace Carr with the FM database.

    Andy Carroll

Steve Brewwwwce is a good lad
  7. The Douglas thing really winds me up. Quality player on a free, scouted for a long time - clearly a quality player. Kinnear waltzes in on day one and cancels it for James Tomkins. So when we cant agree a fee for Tomkins and Douglas has went somewhere else, what do we do? Panic.
  8. Relegation season we had Man Utd as well. The last one was 07-08 when we started at Bolton - so 6 years ago The fixtures are definitely rigged, like.
  9. My hope is that because of early season rust, Man City will restrict our bumming to a 2-0. Which is fine, really.
  10. You see, that big post was very interesting and it could prove to be true. But it's the stuff that wasn't said that I'm nervous about. Pardew has lost his final ally and when he goes, Kinnear is in and we know what that'll do.

    Alan Pardew

To be fair, I wouldnt use Lee Ryder to dismiss a rumour

    Douglas

Luckily if it does cost a bomb to get Tomkins and it becomes unfeasible, Kinnear might give in on this one.

So in the Spring they've got a load of minging away games too.
  14. Nasty opener, nasty finish, the derbies are too close together but at least we're at home on Boxing Day. Good run after City as well.
  15. Well maybe you could say that Ashley knew Llambias wanted to leave so he brought in Kinnear to replace. But we never do things in that order with players, so its probably a long shot. Llambias was rightly hated and he was a big part of the regime but at least he provided stability. Now he's gone, Kinnear is in charge and Pardew is on his last legs. I dread to think what we do next.

    Douglas

For the sake of sanity, I don't want to believe this. It'd be yet another ludicrous decision.
  17. As a fan of this club, you're trained to take the bad times. I can take that. What I can't take is having an amazing 2011-12, with a fantastic set of players and yet here we are 12 months later staring into oblivion. For no reason at all, just because Ashley feels like it. The bad times are bad, the good times quickly turn into a disaster.....honestly, what's the point? I see other owners who are good people, people that dream, people with good intentions. And to see ours deliberately shit on the fans at every possible opportunity, purely out of spite, tears me apart. I thought 'bad Ashley' was over and I feel betrayed. He hates people, he hates tradition and it looks like he hates making money - which is odd for a billionaire. But he must do, otherwise he wouldn't be doing this. To have the audacity to even think of removing us from Europe is despicable, he possesses an evil that even Hollywood writers couldn't create. The last 3 days have changed me. For years its been a love-hate relationship with the club but now I hate that I ever fell for his tricks. I've changed. There's no light at the end of the tunnel this time. I'm at my most miserable when thinking about this club and at my happiest when I'm far away from it. That's not healthy and, honestly, I don't think I have the energy or desire to suffer through this again. All the good work of the last 3 years has been undone in an instant. Being on Team Pardew is horrific but, incredibly, the alternative has far bleaker consequences. Ashley isn't thinking straight, his intentions are evil and he'll not stop until he's reduced this great club to nothing. Mission accomplished.
  18. I forsee us opening at Anfield, against Liverpool.

    Andy Carroll

Liverpool have done well to get that much.
  20. Is this the first release of fixtures since we were able to freely talk about them? Anyway, I was bothered until Sunday. Now I couldnt give a monkeys.
